Fast Track Moving and Storage were a scheduled to arrive between 8-9am. I started to call the office around 9:08 in the morning because the two movers had not arrived and I had not received a call indicating they were running late. I called 3 times and left a message every time. At 9:48 am I received a call from the movers informing me that they had car trouble and were running late. I express my frustration on their unprofessionalism. They did not have the courtesy to call and inform me of their delay. The movers were apologetic and informed me that they would arrive in 30 mins. I also spoke with the owner of Fast Track and he informed me that he just arrived at the office and he thought that the movers were already working. Again I expressed my frustration on their unprofessional response. The owner apologized and said , Sometimes things happen.”
I called the third party Hired Help to inform them of the situation and that at 9:48 am they said they were on their way and that they should arrive in 30 mins. It was now almost an hour later and they still did not arrive. Hired Help attempted to get in touch with Fast Track and at their first attempt were not able to. They tried again and got through. The movers were to arrive within 5 minutes. The owner of Fast Track called and informed me that the movers were trying to reach me. I informed the owner that the storage units were 2 large building right next to the road and the buildings had a big A and B to distinguish between them. I also informed him that I was at storage unit B. I had informed him of this information the day prior to the scheduled work day. The owner texted the movers and they arrived. They started to work at 11:00 am. From a scheduled arrival time of 8-9 to an actual start time of 11 am ! Not acceptable!
The 2 movers were very hard working and polite. They apologized for the inconvenience and informed me they they are the substitute team that were called in. They were diligent and hard working and very pleasant. I had scheduled them for three hours however; my son and I unloaded about half of the trailer by ourselves so I indicated to, “Hired Help” that I would only utilize them for 2 hours and expected to pay only for 2 hours. They agreed and sent me a new invoice.
This was a very frustrating experience for a 63 yr old woman who was relocating from CT to TN to go through.
Would I consider hiring them again? Absolutely Not.

Everything was okay BUT their company tried to overcharge, as they worked for 3 hours ... not the 5 we prepaid for ... then we had to deal with an employee that did not know their own policy of refunding time not used.
Would use another company next time.

The men arrived 30 minutes outside of the agreed upon arrival time of 12:00 - 1:00. They arrived at 1:30 PM. The three men worked for 1.5 hours and then requested to leave, stating they needed a one- hour break. The crew leader did call to say one of the men had a family emergency, but they would be back to finish the agreed upon work within one hour or by 4:00 P.M. A second crew returned at 5:48 and left at 7:15. We considered the contract as completed at that time. The second crew worked to complete the task and stayed engaged through the remaining 1.5-hour time allotted. The first crew stood around often not doing anything. As a new company they need time to improve their services.

Guys were a little late connecting to the job but it turned out to be more challenging with an uphill drive to get to the unloading portion of the job, so tardiness wasn’t that disruptive in the big picture. They handled the job with positivity and hard work. Great attitude, strength, and work ethic. Would call them again without hesitation.

Let me begin by stating the two men who unloaded our moving van (twice) were fantastic. They worked very hard!
The problem was the gentleman, Cory who did the scheduling really dropped the ball.
The original 12:00-1:00 time frame became 3:00 PM for twenty minutes. Then the 2 men had to leave because they were not finished with their previous job. Cory "assumed" that since I said I had unloaded a portion of the van, that the rest would not take much time. Wrong.
The second time coming was around 6:00 PM until the task was completed.
If Cory had either asked me to clarify how much of the truck was unloaded or sent another crew, this review would be much shorter and higher.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

Our customers can look forward to Top Notch service from a company that will make them feel like they're more than just a name on a work order. We specialize in Customer Service and focus on customer Need. Our customers can expect Service with a Smile!

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

A customer should first make sure they have all their belongings they will need for the moving process, like keys, wallets and overnight clothes bags. Make sure there are no glass or breakable items inside dresser drawers, or heavy items like books! Also, customers should make sure all electronics like tv remote controllers and other devices are disconnected and gathered together for easy reassembly on the unload.

What types of moves have you handled?

We do ALL types of moves from High-End, seniors and military, commercial and business owners, college students, to Single family homes and apartment complexes.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

A mentor of mine in college that I built a close relationship with ran his own Moving Company and I worked part time for him while in school. I always enjoyed the physicality of moving furniture, and was a natural in customer service and Logistics. He began grooming me to one day run my own moving company. My favorite part about being a mover is the double satisfaction it provides, a quality service that I can be proud of and at the same time being a part of a very important moment in a family's life.

We offer professional moving training and courses for our crews to be fully equipped with the proper training and skills for any job site.
