Top notch!!! Our movers were Alba and John and not only were they on time, they were friendly, polite, and did not stop the entire time. The move included an outdoor set of stairs to a second floor apartment, so definitely a challenge. When time was getting close, rather than being ready to run, they let us know and we ultimately increased the time by an hour to finish up. Would definitely recommend them again to anyone within their service area. You can't go wrong with the company or with the movers.

I hired 2 helpers, and both showed up, but mainly one of the helpers was moving boxes while the other guy hung out in the moving truck 'arranging'. So one guy moved the majority of the boxes, while the two moved the small amount of furniture that we had. It took 4 hours to move us, with perhaps 2 bedroom worth of furniture, no appliances, no heavy items.

Mover's response:

Thank you for your business. We did this move as efficiently as possible. The 26ft budget truck was about 1/3 full of just small and medium boxes. As the one mover moved stacks of boxes downstairs to the truck the other mover stacked and organized the truck. If both movers would have tried moving the boxes at the same time 2 things would have occurred 1) the boxes were pretty much all staged in the same room so they would have been in each other’s way and 2) It would have taken more time to organize the truck as the boxes would have had to be handled multiple times. When the job was complete it was basically full from a second floor so 4 hours is average to fill 26ft truck. Please see our other reviews. Thank you

I guess you should not do a review until you complete the move. We ended up with a lot of damaged items due to heavy items being packed on top of our couches and some items not being secured well. The seams where the back cushions of the couch were attached were badly ripped, and a dresser and shelving unit were completely ruined. The people hired to unpack the truck said it was not packed correctly, in particular the couches. When we hired someone to pack a truck for my daughter's move from FL, not a single thing was damaged so I was hoping for a similar experience. Definitely not the case.

Mover's response:

Thank you for your business. In regards to this move the customer had 2 14ft kayaks and wanted to conserve space as much as possible to lessen the charge per foot on the truck and they ended have more stuff than anticipated. We could have packed the truck better but we would have had to do unload and reload the truck costing more money to the customer. Had we known at the beginning of the load that we could have used more space then the truck would have been loaded properly. We know that this really not an excuse. Please see our other reviews.
