We called HireaHelper to arrange to have a few men unload our 16' moving van. The driver called and confirmed a 9-10am unload time and all seemed well until the morning of the service. At 10am we received a call from the owner saying they had some logistic issue and would be here a little late. The crew arrived at 12noon 4 men. One stayed in the car, two it seemed were suppose to unload and the owner was there to supervise. It was evident these men had never worked together before when one of the men did not know how to use a hand-truck. The owner sent him away. Then he and the other man unloaded with our guidance. We were concerned about the condition of our goods as they were not respectful of our property and seem to be in a hurry. They finished unloading in 1 hour. We expected competent workers prepared to do the job. Based on this experience we cannot recommend this company.

The main gentleman was great, no, outstanding. His partner for that day, not so good. I watched him break a couple of my iteams and not blink an eye. Not that big of a concern, less than $100 worth of damage. I also understand that his main helper was out for the day and needed last minute help. I would definetly recomend for a move. Thank you, not an easy move at all.

We needed same day service. We placed an order with another company. HireAHelper called us an hour later and said they hadn't heard from that company and neither had we, so they rebooked with Grand Family. They came within a few hours. The crew was professional and good communicators. They moved our large vanity into the house in short order. Very positive experience.
