Communication prior to moving day could have been better. On day of move the guys were 2 hours late. They did carefully handle our furniture and worked well getting it in place. The helpers who packed us on the other end came with tools and were prepared to disassemble and wrap pieces. Guys from 5 Star were not prepared to unwrap or reassemble furniture. They did do an acceptable job moving the pieces into the house from the PODs.

Fairly priced per hour. Movers, Mike and Terrance, showed up on time and ready to work. I had a 1 bedroom apartment to move and was looking to do so from one location to the other within 2 hours. I also told them there was one extra move to take out existing furniture and it was done without an issue. Even though the job was done in 2, said feel free to bill an extra hour and also gave a cash tip. Would recommending the company to anyone that has a U-Haul and needs the help!

I have never used hire a helper before and I would not do it again especially this company. I originally hired 4 individuals for 3 hours. Only 2 of the 4 individuals showed up for the entire time. My husband had to help lift items (which he shouldn’t due to a recent surgery.) Due to this I was required to help lift dressers, beds, and many heavy items that I had hired help specifically for. I asked the owner to call me and I was never given the respect of a phone call. I only paid for 2 workers for the 3 hours however, if I had not been capable of lifting I would not have my truck unloaded or my items placed in my house.

5 star did a great job!
They were a couple minutes early, came prepared with blankets and Dollies.
Guys busted their butts both loading and unloading. Were careful to not damage the house or items.
Would use them again with out a question.
