There is nothing honest about this company.
They told me they do not do packing. I made it clear in the job description that there will be packing.
Forcibly charged $100 cash to move a sofa that did not fall in the oversized or heavy item category. Refused to go through the website for payment because "they get charged fees".
Tried getting cash payment saying that hireahelper only pays for the first half of the move and the remaining time needs to be paid in cash. I prepaid for 3 hours, movers worked 2.25 hours because they refused to help with any packing. Hireahelper refunded my card $160 for the inconvenience.
The DOT and MC numbers that are listed belong to another moving company with a similar name located in Kent Washington.
Owner told me I already got your money so go F@#K yourself when I called him to discuss his movers.
The owner Ron Ferguson has a criminal record with over half a dozen arrests, including 3 DUI's, Vehicular Homicide, Burglary, Domestic Violence, Assault, Vehicular Homicide.
This is the type of predatory moving company that we are warned about on the news.

We moved from Nashville to Denver and we’re exhausted to even try to unload our POD. Abe Lincoln Movers came fast and unloaded our entire pod in under 2 hours. Incredible help and great guys.

It was an absolutely horrible experience. These people will not let you go through the app yourself (insisting they help you through navigating it... When you in uber the driver does not tell you how to use the app). They charge extra for trips to the location and back to the original location and this was not stated anywhere except for verbally by a person when on-site when we had the moving truck ready. I filled in and helped out to get things done in the time I allotted 4 hours. I literally ran back and forth from the moving vehicle to take the smaller items out so I would not go over the time. (I put some heavy things on doly and basically was helping as if I was a mover myself. After the move, they mapped their trip back home not to the location that they started. It went over by 13 min and they charged me an extra half hour (when the app allows for 15 min intervals).
This is after my Mom donated a Washer to them and they used that time included in the time they charged me. (don't know if they sold that washer or not, my mom wanted to donate to someone in need)
Not to mention one of them was sick and did not put on a mask during a covid pandemic. I had a mask the whole time I was helping my Senior mother move.

A professional experience from the initial call to your last item moved. The movers are employees of the company with many years of experience & training.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A professional crew in a timely manner. Last minute bookings can be near or far, but we will do our best to be there on time. We always bring moving equipment such as dollies and shrink-wrap.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Taping up boxes so we can stack them, disassemble beds if you like or we can for you, and being available at the location to direct us where to place your belongings.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved bookstores, jewelry stores, churches, apartments, houses, pianos and small deliveries. We are licensed and insured for the state of Colorado.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The experience makes moving anything a piece of cake! Our movers enjoy moving furniture and take great pride in happy customers.
