Chose this company based on positive reviews, but it was a huge mistake. On the day of my move, they first called to say the move was delayed by 2 hours, then that it was canceled. They claimed they could send a crew the following day, but did not answer their phones after that or notify Hire a Helper that they didn't complete my move. By then it was too late to hire any other companies in the area to complete my move by the time I had to vacate my apartment. The next day, the same lady from Assist called to tell me a crew would arrive by noon and call me to say they were on the way. No one called. No one arrived. Again, they also did not inform Hire a Helper. It seemed like Assist was running a scam. I am going to have to rent a dolly and move myself with minimal help. Stay away!

Jay and Jayden arrived exactly on time, got right to work, and were professional throughout. They moved my furniture and boxes exactly where I wanted them, and they maximized all the time that I hired them for. They even had experience with my building, so they knew how to best access the loading dock.

Jay was on time, prepared for the job, they both worked very hard. They both took great care of my property. I was definitely use them again. Both guys have a great sense of humor and really do care about how they treat the customer's property and were the utmost helpful to me. I love that they wanted to put things where I wanted them and always asked which is awesome!

Jay called an hour before meet up time. He said there was a problem because the schools were being closed due to the coronavirus and needed to find something for his kids. He said he would be about an hour to hour and half late. The conversation was fast and a bit confusing to me. Okay. No problem. I received a call about 10 minutes later from Felix. He said that his ETA is in 10 minutes. I told him it will take me at least 23 minutes to get to the pick up site. I wished Jay would have notified me to let me know there will be a different crew moving my items. Felix and his partner did a good job. They were going to charge me an extra hour. I asked Felix, am I supposed to pay for you getting gas at the gas station? I saw them pull into the station, and I continued to the drop off location about 10 minutes away. I waited 20 minutes and called Felix to asked if they are on their way. He said he should be there in 3 minutes, actually 7 minutes. When I questioned the extra hour Felix called someone and we both agreed I would pay for an extra half hour.
Thumbs up for showing up right on time, and took care of every piece of furniture tirelessly, and damage free!
