Hometowne Movers did a fantastic job with moving and packing our belongings. They were very cautious when maneuvering throughout our house, and did not put a single scratch on our walls or door frames! We were packing a 5 bedroom house into 2 PODS with the expectation that we would have several items left over for self storage. With Hometowne Movers, ALL of our belonging were packed into these 2 PODS (greatly exceeding expectations)! I definitely recommend using this company and will definitely be using them again for our move into our new house!

Once they FINALLY arrived, they did a good job.They were supposed to arrived between 2-3, and didn't arrive until nearly 5pm. They called and kept me up to date, but first it was going to be about 3;30, then they called to say they'd been stopped by the police... apparently the driver didn't have a driver's license at all- (why would the head of the crew not have made sure that he had a driver's license before having him drive?) that delayed them another 45 minutes. My son in law had come to pick up something that I'd promised him, and ended up doing much of the unloading himself while we waited for them to arrive. When they finally arrived and started working, they worked steadily, unloaded what was left to be unloaded. They were very apologetic, polite and respectful, but having expected them to be on time and take less than 2 hours to do the job, I told the truck company the trailer would be ready for pick up at 6p. I became concerned that it wouldn't be ready with the significant delay in their arriving. I wish there was a way to get a discount on the fee as they were so late and I'm not sure it would have been completed in a timely manner if my son in law hadn't done so much. I'd be hesitant to hire them again.. I was glad they had a hand truck, which was a factor in hiring them over another company, but I don't have confidence they'd be on time....

Corey and Ely did a great job loading my Uhaul for me. They were on time and even when they thought they were going to be late they called and informed me of the delay. But was on time and kept me up to speed as to what they were going to do within the time expected. Very courteous, and cared about how they handled your belongings. No complaints here. I would only advise to have your own moving supplies..dolly, wrapping, tape etc or let them know in advance to cover yourself. I didn't make my reservation until after midnight the but that didn't seem to matter they were up for the task. I would definitely use them again for another move.

On a very hot day in July these two men unloaded my truck and placed the items where I requested. They were on time, they were ready to work and helpful when I asked for assistance with putting things in certain places. They finished ahead of the scheduled time and I was appreciative of that. My only negative was they needed to take smoke breaks about once an hour and they left some butts in my driveway. Moving to a new area and not knowing anyone HireAHelper is a good way to go.

Derek and Eli showed up on time and jumped right in. It was an extremely hot and humid afternoon however it didn't slow them down. Very pleased with their courteous manner, placed all boxes in our ur new home where we asked. Offered to put together some items which was appreciated but not yet ready for us to place in the home. I recommend these hard working gentlemen.

They called ahead with estimated arrival time. They were on time, professional, courteous, and hard working. They finished the job early and helped arrange furniture and move storage items into attic. They did such a good job I arranged for them to move a piano for my mom that same day. They were careful with every item and not a single piece was damaged. I would absolutely use them again.

Hometown Movers did a great job! They were slightly late but that was due to traffic and totally understandable. I had them unload a 16 ft POD into our new 3/2.5 two story house and put together two queen beds all of which took less time than I expected. Derek and Cory were prepared and very polite and courteous throughout the job. They were respectful of my property and goods. I was impressed that they did not scratch or dent any of my walls/floors. There were a couple of scuff marks left on the stairs, but that is expected (and even happened with the Rooms To Go delivery guys). I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others. Derek and his team were absolutely professional yet personable with the move. They completed the job right on schedule despite challenges with moving items from one residence to another residence and other items going to offsite storage. We also had the challenge of navigating rush hour traffic. All items were packed and unloaded with care and none of my items were damaged. I also enjoyed talking to the guys throughout the day. I would highly recommend Hometowne Movers and I anticipate hiring them again whenever my next move occurs. Thank you so much guys!
