The men I hired showed up and proceeded to rush through the job. I paid for 7 hours since this was a 4 bedroom house and that is the amount of time that was suggested to me though the hire a helper website.
The movers did this so fast that it only took them 3 hours. They crammed everything as tight as possible into the truck and in the process several pieces of furniture were either damaged or destroyed completely.
Furniture pads / blankets were provided.
When they "set up" the furniture at the new place some of it was set up in a way as to hide the damage done.
The movers took pictures and said they would file a claim and told us not to worry about it. They never did.
