These guys worked so hard but are truly and simply loaders and not packers. Nearly every piece of furniture has been discovered damaged after unloading at our new house. They did not wrap or use shipping blankets. Maybe we should have provided them. We used many blankets to pad as much as we could where we saw needed as they loaded. A door jam was also damaged near the front door. They loaded a desk on its side and stacked many items on top. That desk is now in about 15 pieces. Lesson learned. I will not look for a bargain during moving again.

The movers arrived a couple hours late. I did hear about this via a phone call, but I had to initiate it with Hire A Helper first.
More impactful, I ordered 3 movers, but only 2 showed up to do the move. I know there is a people shortage, but I didn't actually get what I paid for.
The movers themselves were polite and hard working and did a decent job.

We start off with a call, to make sure you're ready for us to come to your home and also to let you know that we're in route to your location.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You should make sure you have enough blankets "moving blankets" to cover your furniture, it's always best you have more than enough, then not enough. Straps, tie downs and have all your belongings packed and ready to go this will allow your move to go faster and smoother and cost you less money and when we arrive just sit back have a cup of coffee or a beverage of your choice and watch us make it vanish like majic.
