There are a few things that stand out. Communication from the company, Hire a Helper and the movers themselves was outstanding. Never in doubt as to when and how they were going to get the job done. Secondly, the movers Nigel and Derwin showed up on time, within the window they called and said they would. They were ready to work, asked what we wanted and then set about to unload our pod. They were extremely polite, very careful with our belongings and very efficient. We had our job completed in just a little over an hour even tough I had hired them for 2. I have no complaints and I would highly recommend Move with Ease and especially Nigel and Derwin.

After booking with us, customers can expect a follow-up within 24 hours to confirm job details, including the date and address. We'll then call again the day before the move to confirm the address and time, followed by another reminder an hour before arriving to confirm we're still on schedule.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day, customers can expect a call from us an hour before arrival to confirm we're on schedule. Our professional crew, dressed in uniforms, will arrive with our own dollies. We'll tour the house and assess the location of large items and smaller items that can be placed on top. We'll also identify items that need to be wrapped for protection. Our team will then efficiently load/unload the truck or container, ensuring items are packed and protected properly, with care and attention to detail.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To prepare for moving day, we recommend having all small items packed in boxes and securely taped at the bottom. Labeling the boxes by room, such as "kitchen," "master bedroom," and "guest bedroom," can save time during the move. Additionally, it's helpful to remove lampshades from lamps and pack them separately in a car. By preparing in advance, you can help us efficiently load/unload the truck or container, making the move as smooth and stress-free as possible.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
What I love most about being a mover is the physicality of the work, which keeps me active and in shape. But what really drives my passion for this job is the satisfaction of helping people during a potentially stressful and challenging time. There's nothing quite like seeing the relief on someone's face when we've successfully completed a move. And the opportunity to work in different locations and meet new people is a bonus that makes each day on the job exciting and fulfilling.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All our crew members receive thorough training from the owner. They learn to wrap items properly, take doors off, protect floors, load items without damage, use dollies and straps, and document arrival and end time. Communication is key, and they call an hour before arrival or if there's a delay. Our crew members are equipped with the skills and professionalism to handle any move with care.
