Originally I gave this company a 5 star review based on the loading part of the move. They were on time and got right to work not wasting a moment. They were courteous, friendly, personable and professional. They were very careful with my possessions and listened to my requests. They did an awesome job preparing my furniture and packing my furniture, and I tipped them $25 each (3 men). Because this part of the move was a positive experience, I hired them (through Erick—owner or manager) two weeks in advance to unload my pod when it was delivered at my new home (at the time I hired them, Erick said they had nothing on the schedule yet that day). I paid $75 extra to have the pod delivered and picked up in the same day (they allow four hours between drop off and pick up, so movers that arrived on time was crucial). We ended up having to unload the pod ourselves because with one delay excuse after another from Erick who knew my time crunch, the movers arrived NINE hours late (Now 4 stars). We had managed to get most items in the house and garage. The two men that finally came (they said they only had an hour’s notice) were quite polite and worked hard for less than half an hour moving the 5-6 items we could only scoot off the pod. I tipped them $20 each. Within minutes of them leaving, Erick called for payment and charged for the minimum two hours. I understand minimums; however, it was in no way my fault that I no longer had 2 hours (much less the planned 4 hours) of work for the movers. When I told Erick that we really felt like we should just be charge for one hour, he proceeded to lecture me at length on how he would be taking a loss and no moving company would agree to a one hour job because of travel time, gas, etc, and how I should have told him that there wasn't two hours of work any more and he would have made a "different decision". What? Later he admitted he wouldn’t have sent anyone at all leaving me with objects in my yard I could in no way move. (now 3 stars). I understand "things happen" and I was very patient and understanding through the entire process, so how did this end up to be me getting reprimanded? Had he just admitted that he messed up and made some effort at compensation, either in time or money, I would have kept the 5 stars as I understand things happen. This company needs to learn that when THEY mess up, THEY may very well take a loss to make a customer happy, and in NO WAY should they try to put any blame on the customer, especially when the fault lies clearly with the company. So, it you have no time constraints and all the time in the world waiting, they are good movers, but maybe still need to learn how much customer relations plays a part in a successful business. But if time is important at all, you are taking a risk. (Note: Erick reluctantly agreed to reimburse me $95. Then days later, he said he would mail $75. Two weeks later, nothing in the mail as of yet. Now 2 stars—and that’s only because the actual movers were stellar in their performance).

Rafael and Edwin did a terrific job!! After a quick walkthrough, they proceeded to work tirelessly until the job was done. They thoroughly thought through the moves of heavy items, not breaking anything or scarring walls. They were also very personable and asked questions whenever they needed to. It was a pleasure working with them!??
