The group was horribly inefficient despite my many hints at how I wasn’t pleased with how the move day was going. I wouldn’t recommend using them unless you want their work to take longer than it should. They had no other place to be for my move day and it showed. It magically took the entire workday to load one trailer.
Minimal breakage discovered at destination so at least that was nice.
The estimate provided through Porch Moving Group was approximately 6 hours with a 3-person crew to load about 23 feet of trailer space. The service selected for the appointment was 4 hours of labor-only loading.
Once the job began it became clear the shipment was significantly larger than originally estimated, and the final load utilized approximately 28 feet of the ABF trailer, packed floor to ceiling. Because of the additional volume, the total time required was approximately 7.5 hours to properly and safely complete the load.
Our crew worked continuously throughout the day to ensure the trailer was packed securely and efficiently. As you mentioned in your review, minimal breakage was discovered at destination, which is always our goal—especially when loading ABF trailers that are transported long distance and can ride rougher than standard moving trucks.
We always prioritize proper loading and protection of customers’ belongings rather than rushing a job and risking damage, and we believe the final result reflects that.

The two gentlemen that showed up were fabulous! Very professional, friendly, and efficient. I would highly recommend them. They truly did a fantastic job and were very easy to work with. I was extremely impressed and tipped them in cash.
