I hired them to pack up some china and to clear out a kitchen of stuff I wanted to donate. They worked so slowly that when I finally let them go (after six hours) they still hadn't finished packing up the kitchen and dining rooms. Packed eight boxes of china in six hours. Then they took a full half-hour preparing the invoice and billed me for that time at the packing rate. The next day someone from the company came by with a new invoice, because the first one had been done incorrectly. When I complained the owner took an hour off the bill (to five and a half hours). I would never hire this company again.

Loaded the first half of the truck fine. The second half they just threw in leaving some shelves just past the load line so the door couldn’t close. Which we discovered only a few minutes after they left. I called them and asked them to return and fix it and they said Ok but failed to return and blocked my calls. We had to repack the entire back half of the trailer ourselves. The only decent thing done was the owner offered to match a $25 refund from Hire a Helper. Not worth the $359 I paid.

They were on time, even though I requested a 7 a.m. start. They had tools with them to handle furniture, etc. They worked very hard and completed loading the POD. Unfortunately we needed to get a u-haul for the overflow. They recommended the place they worked for and though they couldn't stay until we picked up the u-haul they contacted the boss who said they had another job scheduled but they could return to help us load the remainder onto the u-haul. They did and quickly. They were very respectful, worked very quickly and hard. I'd hire them again, but now I'm in Reno so I am getting a team there. I have been extremely pleased with the men that loaded the first POD and the second one. I tell everyone what a great company you have.

A well gromed crew of professional men that are not only great movers but great problem solvers able to solve almost every situation.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The more prepared you are, the faster your move will flow. Uniform boxes make stacking and maximizes your load. Anything that you can do yourself such as disconnecting appliances and wrapping cords, mirrors off of dressers, etc. Will greatly improve your move and more importantly money due to time saved.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've done everything from a simple delivery to a full 20,000 sqft move of office and warehouse. We handle many events for hotels and promoters. We are even a TSA CERTIFIED Carrier that handle many different types of precious cargo.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The great relationships that we've built in our community over the last 22 years.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Considering our employees have been with us many many years. They continue to learn from each other to improve our services to our customers. We work as one colloborated group of people.
