I was relatively pleased with their work. However, they did my daughter's move a week before mine and they were late showing up for both moves. I chose them because I didn't need them as early as she did, so I didn't think it was going to be a problem. Their window was 9 - 10 and they called at 10 on the dot to say they would be late. I asked how late and they said they were about 45 minutes out. It was 11:30 when they showed up. I will say that they worked hard, arrived ready to work, seemed eager to please, took only a couple short breaks, were very polite and really seemed to make an effort to protect our furniture. They didn't bring pads, which I had requested on the order and on the phone, but I rented a couple dozen anyway, and they made good use of them. I just think that if you're going to be in this kind of business, it's important to be on time and if you say you will provide pads, then provide them. Other than that, I was pleased with their service. I would use them again if I could be certain they would arrive in the window agreed upon.

5 stars and then some ! We honestly just loved these guys! Professional, polite, on time, couldn't do enough to just make everything easier for us. Do yourself a favor and call these guys! My husband and I just moved from Florida to NC to build a home. We just moved in to the rental home and when our home is finished we will call Mitchell Brothers again!!

I would absolutely recommend these two young men for any moving job out there! They came prepared with their own tools, moving straps, even a change of clothes for when they got sweaty. They worked very hard and as a great team together. Even being brothers, they were very professional the entire time. They were completely respectful to our two 26' long trailers of property as well as our family with four children. I will definitely hire them back myself if ever needed.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You can expect to immediately be contacted. We will go in-depth on the details on your move. We will then call you the day before the move to verify our arrival window and go over any last minute changes. Last we will call 30 minutes before our arrival your home the day of the move. We have a true commitment to communication and making sure we are up to date and prepared to dominate.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
When we arrive at your home we like to take a tour of the house and go into detail of exactly what you would like done. We then mix our consistent system of moving with your wants and tips to make your moving day peaceful. We prioritize furniture safety over everything else. Although we like to move fast we balance our attention towards making sure there is no scratches on your furniture, walls or floors.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
That varies on each job. Some need lots of help while others want us out as quick as possible. This is a question you should discuss with who ever you chose to move you when going over the details.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've been at it a while and have done on the jobs above but i'll list a few of my favorites. In 2017, we got to install the first weight room at Clayton- Bradley Academy in Knoxville. We also moved the canyon into the Civil War Museum in Pigeon, Forge. My personal favorite is definitely any of the 3 long distance moves we've done to the Florida coast.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I enjoy getting to meet new people and staying in shape for a living.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Yes, we have a 4 day training course for new guys . They learn the basics. We also have a 3 month minimum before employees are allowed to load a box truck or lead jobs.
