We use only our own professional movers and never hire day laborers or temporary help. We do not act as move brokers for another company, so we will not sell your job to another moving company. If you book your job with us, we will see it through to its completion. We never take on more work than we can handle. If we are already booked for the day that you requested, we offer you the nearest available day. We can provide you all needed equipment and packing materials.

The CalState movers that we hired were excellent. They were right on time, very professional and respectful of my property and my family. They were very prepared and actually finished sooner than we had anticipated. We would definitely use CalState Moving again.

We tipped them well because they moved a lot of boxes and heavy furniture within the 4 hour window we scheduled them for. There were heavy wall units and lots of boxes and they got it all into the house. They were very late to our job but said it was traffic and because they were waiting for someone else to pay them. They worked very hard for us. But two out of three of them were unfriendly and seemed to be ignoring our instructions/requests. The guy with the shorter hair in the blue shirt was much more friendly and listened to us. We had stuff that we wanted to leave on the curb to put back in the truck and had to tell them several times to leave it and not bring it into the house. In conclusion, they did the work well and moved a lot of heavy stuff, but I felt uncomfortable the whole time because 2/3 of them acted like they didn't want to be there and were dismissive when we made specific requests. They were prepared for the job and it got done.

The workers I hired from CalState Moving arrived spot on time (moments early, in fact). They were ready to jump right in. I was very pleased at how diligent they were in tackling the job. It was a warm day and I was concerned that they not over-exert themselves, but they worked right on, pacing themselves well.
I had a few pieces of heirloom furniture that I was concerned about, but they handled them with excellent care. I was moving things from my apartment to storage, and I was impressed by their skill in utilizing space.
I'd definitely use CalState Moving again. If this team is representative of all their workers, they are worth every penny.

On time. Great attitudes. Good English. VERY careful with my recent paint job on walls. Tri-story place; lots of stairs; very tight space to move around the stairwell. Did it all without scratching the new paint. Assembled a new bed from carton. Finished within the contract time ... didn't need any overcharges. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
