Our moving deadline was short notice - and my family had more items than we could move on our own. Just two days after the New Year, we didn't have enough hands to help us move our belongings from Chino to Corona. After quick consideration, we decided to search for a moving service that was affordable, convenient and most of all, friendly. We found Jay's Moving Service through Hire-A-Helper. Not only did they offer last minute moving services, they did so at a price that was agreeable. I spoke to Jay several moments after booking their crew to help us move. Jay was kind, asked us what time was alright for his team to show up, & whether or not we had any other questions for him. Shortly after I spoke with Jay, his worker Feli & Oswaldo called back to inform me that they would be available an hour earlier prior to my original service time so that we may have our belongings moved into our new apartment. Upon meeting the moving team, they did. It hesitate to move our belongings up to our place & into the specific locations in each room. Not only were they friendly upon arrival, they were considerate with our items & held them with the utmost care. After the two hours of provided service, I let them know that their help was appreciated & I would consider their services in the future. Thank you to Jay's Moving Service & Hire-A-Helper. I hired two helpers to assist me with my one-bedroom apartment move. The day of my move, they remained in communication with me about the status update of their location due to the horrible Southern California traffic. I know how unpredictable it can be and they showed up right on time even though they got stuck in traffic. The two were very pleasant and ready to work right away. I had to make two different stops (one to my final move destination and the other to a storage unit to place large furniture pieces-this is because I was moving back with my parents who really could not take more furniture). They were very organized with my belongings and knew which items were going to which location and packed my moving truck very efficiently. I had stairs at both locations and they were very careful with all of my furniture and the walls. They even provided furniture wrapping, padded covers to protect furniture, and tie downs to keep the items in place within the moving truck. The two together were a well oiled machine and they never stopped working from the minute they showed up. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family and I would definitely use them again. I plan to move soon as the move back to my parents was temporary and I asked if I could call them again and they said absolutely. If you need to move, use these guys because they work hard, show up on time, and are extremely friendly!

Arrived a little late due to traffic but worked very hard for the two full hours I booked them for. Came prepared with dollies, blankets and plastic wrap. Took very good care of my furniture. Overall, they did a great job.

I was hesitant to hire people - low on cash and all that jazz but I am so happy I did. They were very careful with my stuff and moved it all really swiftly, and made me feel like I had friends helping me move in. I didn't, everybody was off having thanksgiving. They even assembled my bed when they finished early, without me asking and despite my "oh, you don't have to" protests.
