Unfortunately the pair of movers arrived separately and one was 10 min late. I chatted with the one while we waited. They didn’t have a hand truck but lucky I had one. It was hot and they asked for a five min break which of course I said was fine and I offered them something cool to drink. It ended up being a 10 minute break, but that was OK except - that I was then charged for them working “overtime“ because they finished 15 minutes after the hour. Never mind being 10 minutes late and taking a 10 minute break. Add to that, they clearly had no idea how to stack the truck. They kept moving boxes taking them down and starting again and wasting so much time. I even heard a huge crash when a whole pile of boxes fell to which I ran out and could see clearly boxes crushed and scattered. I’m so nervous about what’s gonna happen when I open them. I finally them to stop stacking and just to put the stuff on the truck and I would do the rest myself. I would not use this company. The kids were nice enough. I still tipped them. They’re just trying to make a living, but they were totally unprepared and clueless about how to pack or be careful with fragile items. And then of course the icing on the cake was charging me extra when really they owed me more time.

They arrived on time and had the equipment and supplies that were needed to load the two containers. They took good care of the items and did a good job of loading and protecting my items. Got everything loaded in less time than we had booked. I would definitely use them again.

I had these three amazing guys come in with great attitude and amazing humor, and even relieved my stress of making sure that all of the furniture would fit in this pod container! They fit everything in like playing Tetris and even was able to fit more than I thought I could! I was extremely relieved and happy with their service! I would highly recommend them!

Avalanche will be prepared with the blankets wrap and protective items needed to protect your items. We will be on time and finish your job in a timely manner.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have everything off the items we are moving. Make sure all your boxes are ready to load. Clear off all items off of all the furniture that we are moving.

What training do you provide your crew members?
All new movers are trained in how to properly load a truck, carry heavy items and protect customers valuables. They will be trained in the field along side of an experienced crew members.
