They were on time, prepared and worked hard & fast. However, I would have appreciated a little less speed, if necessary for a little better care of my furniture.
I have two pieces of furniture that are very light in color--a bed and an easy chair. Those two items completed the move full of dirty marks and smudges that were new. Some might have been just a matter of dusty sweaty bodies rubbing against the furniture (It was very warm). Others looked more like something coming from the ground or a dirty moving truck. What is particularly frustrating to me is that I provided plenty of protective blankets that were not all used and could have been. I took pictures of the worse dirt but there is no way to include them in this review.
Fortunately a rented furniture cleaning machine helped a good deal, but at considerable additional expense.
I will look for an alternative mover next time.

Steve & John were wonderful. They worked non stop until our moving project was complete. They displayed care and attention to detail in moving all our furniture and appliances (some of which were quite heavy and bulky) to various floors and rooms throughout the house and attached carriage barn. A big project for sure. They are true professionals.

The helpers were fabulous! They did a great job with every item, asking to clarify whether the item was to go or stay, as some of our furniture was sold but still in the house. They handled everything very carefully. They were later getting to our house because the previous move took longer than expected, but constantly kept in touch by txt to let us know when they would b on their way, apologizing for the other move running late. Great communication skills kept our move going! And they managed to get all of our things on the truck!I

I couldn't be happier with Classic American Movers. From the start, they responded to my request right away, were well prepared for the job, showed up promptly and moved my stuff quickly and efficiently. I needed a heavy table saw moved from my garage to the basement and an old table saw moved from the basement to the garage. Heavy stuff with steep stairs to negotiate. The movers, Stephen and John, were exceedingly professional, courteous and capable. I would not hesitate to use Classic American Movers again.
