Worst move ever! Never have I had so many problems and items broken. So much damage.Wasn't even sure if they were showing up except that I had been charged, because I called and left a vm trying to confirm and never received a call back. Showed up to the door on time smelling like marijuana. Didn't feel I had a choice but to use them because of already being charged and no other options with the time constraint. Only had a small amount to pack considering I had packed the entire house and moved all boxes to one area to make the move faster. Thought they were doing an ok job until I realized they didn't pack the containers or boxes correctly to prevent damage. They didn't finish moving all items into the containers, never finished packing, and required me to order more containers. Before even moving the containers, I opened the doors to see how they looked (because they left items outside the containers), and discovered the china cabinet broken, lots of empty space between items, and no tie downs were used. I was told they were the "elite crew" and would do a wonderful job. SOOOO wrong! They caused more damage and cost me more money that I will never get reimbursed for. DO NOT USE Lewis Moving Company. I don't know why Hire A Helper keeps them on their list of movers and advertises for them. I am not the only customer who has had problems with them and had them arrive stoned/high.

Smelled like weed. Not good.
Worked like on weed. Slow. Didn’t seem to get a lot done. Paid for 10 hours, got 6 hours. They did bring an extra guy, but still much didn’t get done. Would not use again.

They arrived early…personable and hard working. They were careful and wrapped and gently loaded my antique display cabinet . I recommend them and would use them again.

They showed up on time and worked diligently for the time they were there. But you need to monitor the loading of the pods as many items of furniture were put in the pods without any blanket wrapping so they would rub against other furniture of the metal wall of the pod itself. We even had a pile of blankets for them to use but they only used it when we asked. We ended up unloading one pod entirely to properly protect the furniture.
