Hire a Helper is no more than a scam. They will charge you in full before the service and then they will come back after a couple weeks with extra charge and they say: oops, we undercharged you in the first place. Stay away from them, they are no more than a scam. However, the helpers themselves were not bad.

I hired four helpers for three hours. They arrived on time, were professional, and got right to work. JC, Nate, Amber and D were fast and efficient. They were respectful of my belongs. The ONLY reason I would not give this company 5 stars is that I was not refunded for the two hours that they didn't need. After speaking with customer service, I was told that for future reference, I should order the bare minimum as they will stay for an extra hour if necessary. So, I highly recommend this company, but if you are in a position not to loose one hundred dollars, be sure to only book the minimum time required.

The movers at Lawrence and Family were absolutely phenomenal!! They were a pleasure to work with, and with 4 movers they completely emptied a 26 foot moving truck in 1 and a half hours. They are extremely hard working and our move in could not have gone any better. I would 100% recommend this company for any of your moving needs.

Tim and Dillon arrived early Even though there was 6” of snow on the ground. They worked steadily and efficiently. They laced all boxes and furniture in the correct places. They set up beds and recliners and did a last check and satisfaction i would recommend their services anytime.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We like to give an Eta once its known, you can expect communication on arrival and job progress. On time arrival, courteous and respectful movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
All we ask from our customers is guidance! Of course we would like everything packed and ready but that's not always the case, So if you can just let us know where everything goes, any pre-cautions, or requests we will take care of the rest! (We don't mind helping to finish up some packing here and there.)
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done long distance and local moves, packing customer belongings, cleaning up after the move. We have move Pods, Pakrats, ABF trailers, u-hauls/upacks. We also move heavy/bulk items such as pianos, gun-safes, and pooltables,etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have moved literally every year growing up, and I can't tell you how much movers would have made a difference! We love to help take the stress and strain off our customers during this difficult, yet exciting time.

Same Day Moves
We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
