The Lawrence & Family Movers were impressive in several ways. For starters, I had already contracted with another Hireahelper provider, who, first, tried to add another fee after we both had accepted the initial contract and established fees. Next, after going back-and-forth with the first provider and mentioning that I would contact Hireahelper for input on the extra fee, the provider said we could cancel. The day the service was to be provided, they said they canceled the job but then eventually said they would take it. Subsequently, they asked if they could do it the next day, instead. I eventually recontacted Hireahelper (at about the time the first provider was supposed to be working) and asked if they had someone else who could step in on the same day, and they said they would check and call me. Minutes later, Hireahelper called and said they had someone, for the same price, who accepted the job for the same day. It turned out to be Lawrence & Family Movers, in very short notice. Later, Robert, JC, and Brian showed up on time to take care of the move. They were professional, courteous, promptly took care of the paperwork, and went right to work, not wasting time. The three worked as a team to lift and load the furniture, using moving straps, which worked smoothly and was somewhat surprising. They unloaded the large, very heavy piece of furniture carefully, completed the required paperwork and departed. Great team! I took a card and will recommend them. They responded in such short notice and never missed a beat.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We like to give an Eta once its known, you can expect communication on arrival and job progress. On time arrival, courteous and respectful movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
All we ask from our customers is guidance! Of course we would like everything packed and ready but that's not always the case, So if you can just let us know where everything goes, any pre-cautions, or requests we will take care of the rest! (We don't mind helping to finish up some packing here and there.)
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done long distance and local moves, packing customer belongings, cleaning up after the move. We have move Pods, Pakrats, ABF trailers, u-hauls/upacks. We also move heavy/bulk items such as pianos, gun-safes, and pooltables,etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have moved literally every year growing up, and I can't tell you how much movers would have made a difference! We love to help take the stress and strain off our customers during this difficult, yet exciting time.

Same Day Moves
We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
