On time.
Worked long & hard.
Respectful.
Careful with my belongings—the antique China cabinet arrived unharmed & no breakage.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY . Two young boys showed up (one under 18) with NO moving experience at all. Every heavy item (4 in total) damaged the walls/door frames going out or were damaged on the truck due to poor packing. Hire a Helper only reimburses .60 on the dollar for any damage so BUYER BEWARE!

Mover's response:
Mover beware! If you call a young man (18 yrs old) boy thats discrimination. At 18 these men are fully marketable as working men. With our company we are able to hire teenagers as helpers and train them to be leads once they graduate and join the workforce full time. Just because someone is young doesnt mean they havent worked with us, or anywhere else before. The issue from the statements from the crew are both team members were directed and assisted by the client. We are the professionals and HAH vettes each company and supplies clients with details of the contracts they are entering which includes NOT being in the units and NOT helping the movers or directing where to place items. The damages from helping and rushing the crew due client being behind on his 200 mile move. Client complaint included saying blankets were never used yet our pics and even his pics showed items blanketed OR where blanket fuzz had been left on items he claimed were not wrapped. No one is perfect, sometimes things happen and thats why brokers and movers DO have insurance. As a client you’re accountable to read and be aware of your contract as well! The US DOT mandates that movers must provide $0.15 of insurance per pound,
HAH and its vendors provide $0.60 of
Insurance per pound. No its still not replacing items in your DIY move but it covers more than beer and pizza with your friends.

You sent two opposite individuals one a young guy who was doing most of the work. It took 1 hr 45 minutes to load this truck which is the harder of the two processes, but unloading took 6 1/2 hrs. What is wrong with this picture? The second person sent complained about his back the whole time and took excessive amounts of breaks. We indicated we have a two story house and the first thing he did was complain about this. And after 6 1/2 hrs the majority of the goods were left in the garage for my disabled wife to move into the house. I would like to dispute the charges for this move. We will never ever use you again and will be putting in a complaint to the BBB. I sent an email for someone to call me but that had not happened. Maybe you are embarrassed with the fact that it took 6 1/4 hrs to just move stuff out of a truck and into a garage?
Please contact me.

Mover's response:
After further investigation. This review is by the clients husband who was NOT giving guidance to the crew. The crew had a 28’ abf trailer to unload. The dollys were not useful due to the lip in the garage and the stairs coming apart at the front door so crew had to run a box at a time. The crew recorded 5 (5 min breaks) all day thats 25 min of breaks in over 6 hrs and no lunch break, thats not a gross amount. One crew member fell in the truck trying to unstack the load and only 1 comment was made. As for the two opposite people, that is called discrimination as we can not base hiring on size, gender, religious or sexual preferences. Also client did tell crew to put remainder of boxes in the garage or they wouldve been there all night taking boxes into the house one at a time. Client may have contacted Hire a helper but not our office. No complaints, notes or comments on the paperwork that they signed and initialed with times and rate of charges we turn into hire a helper. Until this review no one in our company knew there were any issues. We have reached out to hire a helper for mediation of resolution
