This whole cluster started with Pack Rat severely underestimating the size of the container required. Realizing that we were going to have to rent a trailer, we instructed the loaders to make sure all of the furniture was loaded first and fit what boxes could, as I couldn't handle furniture by myself. Well, they loaded ALL of the boxes first. I now have stuff (furniture) left in a neighbor's garage that we have to move without the help that we paid for.
Update after unloading the container:
Many pieces of our furniture were damaged including an antique Duncan-Fife table and matching china cabinet. What frustrates us the most is that we bought 3 dozen furniture blankets and they hardly used them. Tables were gouged, knobs were broken, edges were rubbed.
Definitely run from this company as fast as you can.

The move went okay, 2 of the three movers worked well, but the third guy (who apparently was new) was basically useless. My family actually moved more stuff into the house than the 3rd guy did.
