The movers were on time, very friendly, and hard-working (despite the sweltering heat!). They were prepared, made a point to ask just exactly where I wanted my items to go, and treated my things respectfully. I have another job coming up and I will definitely be using them!

They showed up on time and had all of the required equipment to move our stuff. They worked a little slow, but made sure all furniture was carefully wrapped and packed securely. We were on the third floor of an apartment with tight stairwells. No furniture was damaged. This is our second time using HireAHelper and we would definetly use them again.

My husband and I hired a 4 person group for 4 hours to unload a completely full 26 foot Penske truck my husband loaded for our long distance move to Orlando. The guys arrived and after optimally placing the truck, immediately began to unload. I had hoped they would be able to get half of the truck unloaded in the 4 hours we had booked (my husband had family coming to help us that weekend with the rest and to put our furniture together). They worked quickly and professionally, getting the furniture through tight doorways and up a flight of stairs without damage to the furniture. Amazingly, they were able to unload the entire truck AND to put together all of our furniture (mostly bedroom sets) for us, and they finished nearly an hour early, at a very reasonable price. My husband and I were thrilled with their efforts and would strongly recommend them to others. In fact, my husband and I both said that if we have to move again for whatever reason, we will be calling them to do the job. Very strongly recommend this group!

My work consisted of unloading a 14' U-Hall truck with household goods and furniture (1BR apartment) from the parking lot and move it to an apartment on the third floor. Tony and Giovani arrived five minutes before schedule and started work on time. Though we had not requested for any carts or other tools, they had come prepared with all necessary accessories. The worked very hard and completed the work in a little over an hour.
They were extremely polite and professional and were careful about the property and goods. We were extremely happy with their work and will use them again without any hesitation. As soon as the work was completed, their supervisor wanted to ensure that we were satisfied. We will definitely recommend them to anyone needing help in moving.

Maurice and Tony were wonderful! On time, hard working. and really cared about making us happy. I could not have done better on my hire, and I have already recommended them to a friend moving down. My only complaint is Tony really does not understand football, he is a Giants fan!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Follow up call to confirm details about move such as address, if any gate codes, types of items to be moved, and if any moving materials are needed. We alway will bring dollies and hand-trucks and all the tools to the trade otherwise.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Years of moving experienced crews with every tool needed to get the job done in a timely manner.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Anything that is not done we will do with notice from packing service, to disassembling dresser mirrors and beds, hooking up appliances to be moved and electronics. Of course if it is done prior will reduce tthe total time your move takes.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've handled long distance moves and local moves. We have done many office moves disassembling cubicles and packing files. Generally due to our many years in moving industry our say is, "it's always the same rodeo, just a different bull". From loading and unloading truck rentals, portable containers, and the large semi tractor trailers, there is not much we haven't done.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Workout while making a living! Travel within certain radius is a plus. Meeting new people and networking.
What training do you provide your crew members?
On the job training is a must. You can read and watch all the videos about swimming but you'll never learn until jumping in the water.. However we also do video training and questionnaire for moving certain types of items heavy and fragile.
