This company doesn't get a 5 star rating because someone in their infinite wisdom decided to spread my expensive run on the truck's floor, which was wet, and walk over it with wet their shoes. The rug is toast, and I didn't see it until I got to my destination. I was very disappointed because I made it clear my furniture was important. I took pictures and someone will have to replace it. If I subtract the rug, they did a great job packing two trucks. They kept things moving and I have to say it was efficient.

The two men from Affordable Professional Movers did an excellent job. We had them scheduled for 2 hours to move the bulky & heavy items from the 2 PODS containers and the garage to the basement, main floor, and upstairs. They worked hard and got the job done on schedule. They handled our goods with care. We would definitely use them again.

Unbelievable; and this is no exaggeration. These guys deserve 6 out of 5 stars. Disassembled, wrapped, covered, carried, removed doors, replaced doors. They were efficient, knowledgeable and had great moving skills and experience. They showed up on time, brought some of their own equipment to make the moving easier and safer, never even took a break until finished, and handled all of furniture with care and protection. Would definitely hire them again! Affordable Professional Movers take the stress out of the move.

Both guys were excellent and very hard workers. I would not hesitate to recommend them and to use them again if need be. I wish they were available in South Carolina for the unloading. A great experience and we felt very comfortable with the way they handled our belongings.

We are a team of professional movers here to make moving day less stressful for you.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day we like to be prompt and get right to work. We can often be flexible around changing schedules, as trucks and closing dates often have changes or delays.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To prepare for moving day, make sure you have enough furniture pads, straps or rope, equipment/tools, etc. We provide some of these things, make sure to communicate with your movers about what is included and what you need to provide.
What types of moves have you handled?
We handle internal moves (relocating some items within the house), local, long distance, office moves, pods, containers, trucks, etc.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I love being a mover because we meet a lot of interesting people. From football stars to your friendly neighbor next door, we meet lots of new and interesting people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Each of our crew have over a decade of experience in the industry. We are a small group and keep it small on purpose, we don’t expand and hire more movers for more jobs, we keep it small to ensure top quality service, over quantity of jobs / crews working.
