The movers were clearly inexperienced failing to load my rental truck appropriately. Large heavy items such as upright freezer, solid wood dresser/night stands, and other similar items were not loaded first. Significant amount of space was wasted in the process. Even after paying for an additional 2 hours, a large amount of items were still not loaded onto the truck. We needed to rearrange the entire truck to the best of our ability so that the remaining items would be able to fit. Several important items were completely ignored despite being specifically mentioned to be packed onto the truck. I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

The. Adelphia team arrived right on schedule. They came in and surveyed the contents of the home that had to be moved into the truck and they asked questions about fragile items, etc. They made suggestions about where to start given our preferences, and they were off. They worked consistently with no breaks and very friendly chatter. They packed well, using space efficiently and there was just the small amount of extra space the head mover had predicted when the truck was empty. And they finished 30 minutes faster than the budget - so we were on the road sooner. Great team and well worth the cost.

I specifically called HireAhelper to ensure that my request was correctly processed vs booking it online. However, the person who handled it (the middleman) did not submit the order to the movers as instructed. They arrived at my building and showed up with a drill instead of a dolly and other moving equipment, as they were supposed to “rearrange a 1-bedroom unit.” On my end, the order was correctly processed, moving heavy items from one floor to another - internal apt building move. I am not blaming the movers who did their best and were very cordial. I do blame the person who handled my orig request and wish I could review separately!

I can not recommend.charged my credit card twice! when i called to complain they said movers had no record of that and they could not help me.they sub contract the work and then the sub contractor sub contracts the work out! so they refused to accept responsebility.A complete mess and aggrivation.
