I was texted confirmation in a timely manner but soon after I was asked if I would pay them directly and not through Hire A Helper, which I did not do. They were to show up at 8am and I got a call at 7:30 from a mover saying he'd "overslept". Two movers showed up before 8:30 though but they brought no equipment with them (the advertisement said they would provide their own equipment.) They didn't bring a dolly. We were moving into a 2 floor townhouse. It slowed the process down. The unloading of the pod should have taken under two hours but took 2.5 hours so I had to pay for an extra hour. They asked me to pay them directly that extra hour so they could get paid sooner. They were not careful of delicate furnishings and nearly dropped two antique bookshelves. Then they put three holes in the wall trying to take a captains bed up the stairs when I told them it came apart into two pieces. They only assessed that would be a good idea to take it apart after the holes were in the walls. Other than that, they were very nice men. But I cannot recommend this moving company. Very unprofessional.

The original crew had an unexpected issue prior to arrival and were not able to make the move. I contacted Jvon and he was able to coordinate the move a few hours later. Jvon was communicative and apologetic about the inconvenience and offered a discount on the move. Overall, Jvon and the 2 other gentleman who responded to my move were pleasant and great to work with. Would definitely recommend and use in the future.

Please provide or ask for all moving needs , blankets, straps, etc. we are also more than happy to help provide those items ms
