The lead worker was on time. He worked hard, but his associate, was not as prompt, not nearly as productive, and did not seem to be willing to work to get our furniture and other items unloaded. We understand that it was late in the day, and very hot, but we were experiencing the same conditions as the workers. Two items were seriously damaged and will require expensive repairs: both are antique pieces of furniture that survived 3 previous moves and should have been handled with care – a bookcase with double glass doors, one now cracked, but the other is a curio cabinet also with a glass door, which completely shattered with a loud crash and horrible tinkling noise when they set it down right in front of me. Both of these pieces were wrapped in moving blankets and heavily taped. They also broke a stained glass clock, but it is the furniture damage that is so bad. We had paid for extra hours to get this move completed, and it was a fiasco.

We know how frustrating moving is ! If you’d like to help your movers job easier please make sure all boxes are taped and sorted and that all fragile items are marked and carefully placed . Please provide or ask for all moving needs , blankets, straps, etc. we are also more than happy to help provide those items ms
