I had reserved (well in advance) a time slot for 8-12 AM on July 30th. A few days prior to this, the moving labor helper called to see if it was okay to arrive earlier (7 AM). I agreed to this time. On the morning they were supposed to arrive, I get a call from one of the helpers (Taylor), informing me of his car troubles which would delay his arrival. He then said he would arrive at 2 PM. At 2:30 PM, still no moving labor help. We had a moving truck with a trailer that needed to be returned. I called the contact number for Ultimate Moving and I was then informed that the movers who were supposed to unload our belongings never showed up to any of their jobs and turned off their phones. They just up and quit! I realize that Ultimate Movers had little control of the situation, but the least they could have done was to inform me (I had to call them) so I could make alternate plans. Moving is stressful enough and this situation made the stress-o-meter go off the chart.

Two men were provided for my job, as requested. They arrived at the scheduled time. They were prepared for the job they were hired to do, not only to include equipment they needed to perform the work, but also the equipment they needed to protect themselves during heavy lifting. I explained some extenuating circumstances at my location regarding a number of rescue animals throughout the house that they would need to be watchful of their safety when going into their various areas, even though I had mechanisms for that in place. They were extremely respectful of my requests in being careful of the animals, which was high on my list of importance! They listened to and carried out any specific requests that I had as we went along. They were very careful of my belongings and used the furniture padding that I had provided for wrapping and cushioning. They both had excellent work ethics, in my opinion, and both exhibited very positive attitudes throughout the work until the job was completed for the day. I have already requested two more appointments with them for more upcoming work to be done. They made what could have been an exceedingly stressful day into an organized and pleasant process! I recommend them highly!

The move was a mess... the trailer showed up without a ramp, but this didn't stop the team that arrived.. They hand unloaded everything from the trailer and everything moved quickly and smoothly.
