I’m so glad Extra Hands PGH showed up because if I had to unload the contents of my moving van up a flight of stairs by myself it would have taken me all **** day. Alex and Kelly are awesome; they had a smart system going and completed the job lightning fast, like a little over an hour. Aside from being necessarily strong, they were very polite and careful with my stuff. Also they were very communicative and let know exactly when they would be arriving, which is helpful during a stressful move. I would call them again next time I need help moving.

You will receive a call directly from our owner, Alex, who will confirm all details of your move and leave you with a great impression of our local company.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will receive a call when movers are on their way to your moving location. Movers will show up on time and move your belongings safely, efficiently and with a positive attitude.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moves will go quicker and cost less if you are prepared for your moving day. Having everything packed up, disassembled, and cleaned off will help us move your items safely and efficiently. We are also happy to help with these services free of charge if you would rather have us take care of them.
What types of moves have you handled?
At Extra Hands PGH, we provided labor only services such as loading, unloading, packing and in home moves. We send full service moves to other moving companies we partner with. Our movers have moved everything from pianos and refrigerators to small items and everything in between.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is helping relive the stress from the customer and make the moving process as smooth as possible. It always great to see a customer happy with the move and in their new house or apartment.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our movers learn basic and advanced moving, corporate moving, specialty crating and packing skills, and personal safety standards. Our employees are required to complete our mover training and gain experience as mover-helpers before they can become full-fledged moving pros.
