We were very happy with the job that Superior Service provided us. We had a 16’ POD to unload and they had it done in under 2 hours. They organized the boxes that we asked them to leave in the garage and handled all our belongings with great care. We appreciate their superior service!

I will get right to the point about Superior Service — their name, unfortunately, just doesn’t match their service in the slightest. Under no circumstances do I recommend trusting your property to them, but if for some reason you do book them, I would recommend supervising them every step of the way. While they were on time to the job, and actually very pleasant as people, the job they were there to do — move my items with care — was not that of a professional moving company.
The job was to move me out of my apartment building, so I could either be in my apartment or I could be 16 floors down on the loading dock, but I couldn’t be in both places. When I was in the apartment, I could not see how poorly they were loading my items into a moving truck that would eventually be traveling halfway across the US. As HireAHelper suggested, I had dozens of moving blankets on hand for them, but they failed to use about half of them I later discovered.
Only when I unloaded the items did I actually see how careless they actually were in loading. All my framed art (nothing pricey, but nonetheless, things that decorate my walls) were stacked together and left to bounce on top of a box. A large wood framed mirror was placed lengthwise directly onto the truck floor and left to rub and bounce the whole way, my West Elm “splurge” of a chair was tucked tightly between the splintery wooden sides of the truck and a stack of boxes. A TV was shattered broken. Very few blankets were used throughout, and it seemed as if zero care was exercised.
I would recommend saving your money and asking your friends to come over to help... the thing your friends would have in common with Superior Service is that they’re both not professionals. But, unlike Superior Service, friends would actually care somewhat about your property I would hope, so would never load a truck the way Superior did for me.
Or, save yourself the trouble altogether and just book another company.
On a very positive note, you are CERTAINLY on the right website to book your moving labor help. In solving my issues with Superior Service, HireAHelper was nothing short of phenomenal in the excellent and responsive service they provided. So, I recommend this site 100%, but recommend my movers I unfortunately chose 0%.
One final remark, I waited to write this review until Superior Service had an opportunity to make this right. They did not do so, so this review is written in a manner that is brutally honest, yet nonetheless truthful from my perspective.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You will receive a call from us to verify all the information on the work order, and go over any questions that you may have.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call when a crew is in route to your location. Once on-site we will do a quick walk-thru with you and get right to work.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Remove all the contents from any furniture that is being moved. If you have pets be sure to have a designate place where they can be kept during the move. If your moving date is draw to a close and you are have not fully packed you can always call us and we can have an experienced packer there the day before the move to help you be ready.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved everything from retail stores, offices and homes to fountains, music and sports equipment. We've also moved weddings, animals, college dorms, pods, pack rats, u-boxes, containers and a wide range of small trailers to big trucks. There nothing we have not seen before so if you have a doubt about an unorthodox situation don't hesitate to call us so we can offer a quick solution.

What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew member have at least 6 years of full-time moving experience, so you have a team of experienced, dedicated, moving professionals at your disposal for all your moving needs.

We charge an extra 20% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
