Established in 2012 in Oakland, California, with the belief in helping families and the community move forward. We provide , pads, packing material, and equipment. We are an insured, independent, moving company specializing in, but not limited to, residential moves. We represent the principles of strength, unity, and pride... all things we try to embody with every job.

They were on time, prepared for the job and got right to work. They were respectful of our property and completed the job in a timely manner. The guys were very friendly and introduced themselves. I liked the fact that they called to confirm the job and gave us a window as to when they would show up and they did. I would definitely call them again.

THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Tony reached out the day before to check in and confirm.. and then even offered to start earlier which was PERFECT for us! They were 100% prepared for the job, and worked hard!!! They were not only respectful to my family and I, but also very friendly and :) They moved all our things quickly and were happy to move them wherever we needed. They were efficient and respectful of our things. I would MOST DEFINITELY use them again and would refer my friends to them as well! If you have a way to tell Tony--he left his sweatshirt here!!! The appointment was for arrival between 8 and 9 am. I called at 8:20 and was told they just left San Leandro but were experiencing traffic. I received a call about an hour later asking if they arrived and requesting a callback. I left 6 voicemail requests for contact but no one from TC ever called back. I called Hire a Helper and they were able to arrange for a second company (Silverback) to arrive in the afternoon. Hire a Helper covered the difference in rates and I will be submitting a receipt for the one extra day that I have to rent the truck. TC Family Movers almost ruined the day I had taken off from work but Hire a Helper partially rescued it. Silverback performed very were and I was very happy with their service

What a crew! They took time to see the whole house 1st and then the POD space we had. Careful taking our items down the stairs and loading the best possible manner. On top of that they were complimentary about how well we had packed. They were easy to communicate with and kept checking in with us that everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely recommend these movers to anyone using PODS!

Prompt, prepared, hard working, and careful with our items. I would use them again. They did a great job packing our kitchen and loading all our furniture, boxes, and kids' outdoor toys into two PODS.

TC Family movers were very easy to work with and got the job done efficiently. They were able to accommodate our short term notice, our moving-target time frame and the late afternoon /early evening hours we needed. I highly recommend them for any small moving/labor project you have.

They wanted to come early, but unfortunately I was not ready so I asked them to come at the designated time. They showed up promptly, all three of them reeking of pot. They had absolutely no idea what they were doing in terms of packing things and several items ended up getting severely damaged or broken. I provided lots of packing materials and blankets to cover the furniture, but they did not use them and as a result much of my furniture is now scratched. They even managed to grab the recycling (which was not anywhere near my stuff) and tried to pack that. I had to repeatedly ask them to pack a specific closet and in the end gave up and packed it myself while they played with my tape dispenser. They also told me to pay them for three hours when they had been there for two hours and 20 minutes.
Honestly, I think they would probably have been fine if they hadn't decided to spend the down time between jobs getting high. They were perfectly nice people and that is the only reason they are getting two stars instead of one. I do not recommend them and I would not use them again.

What training do you provide your crew members?
Every Morning we provide a safety. Training meeting on how to conduct business as a mover.

We charge an extra 10% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
