Hours after they were supposed to arrive, I finally got ahold of them by phone and they said they were on their way. But they never showed, and the regional manager, who was supposed to figure out where they were, ghosted me.

They pushed out their arrival time 4 times and ended up showing up 6 hours past the booking time. We ended up loading in the dark because they didn't get here until 6 pm. The guys worked hard, but I wouldn't book with this company again. I'm glad someone at least came eventually, but completely insane to me to push it out that far.

Travis and his buddy showed up on time. That’s the best I can say about their services. This was a third floor apartment and we are unable to load the truck by ourselves which is why we hired loaders in the first place. The first thing they moved was the couch. It was a good size couch and it took a while to get it out the door. I understand this. But then they got it 1/2 of one flight down, set it down and sat down on the steps to take a break. All and all, it took them about 30 minutes to get the couch down 3 flights of stairs. Keep in mind, we are paying by the hour. Then, once they loaded the couch in the truck, they walked to their car and took another break. I couldn’t believe it. After that, people in my group began “helping” by taking things down to the truck and handing it to our “loaders”. After one such trip, they told us to just start bringing it down the stairs and they would load the truck. Three flights! If I were capable of moving things (including furniture) down the stairs, why would I need people to do it for us? I was livid. I started piling things at the top of the stairs so they could grab them more easily. They did NOT want to work. They each would carry a light load (ie, one small box or a lamp) while my group did the majority of the moving. I do not know what I paid for. It was ridiculous. Why should I be paying for them to be on their phones or smoking cigarettes. After 2 hours of this we were done. The truck was sloppily loaded and we had damaged items. I don’t think the owner had any idea that this was happening. I don’t blame him really. But these two he hired were worthless as loaders. I will be calling the owner on Tuesday.
