Good Points:

1. Took several personal calls while doing move.
2. Used my bathroom several times, (that was perfectly okay) didn't wash hands and then moved my items (not okay)
3. Lots of excessive cursing and bumping into things; explanations on heaviness and amount of stuff. It's my stuff I really would appreciate not having negative comments about it in front of me.
4. Brought a trailer. Also was perfectly okay, but I did not request and then they had to unhook it, use the truck, re hook up the trailer, go to my storage, unhook the trailer and then empty the truck and then re hook the trailer to leave. All of which added to my "time" that I was required to pay.
5. Very slow moving movers. Sometimes moved several boxes, sometimes lifted one and asked if this was a "good one". In the movers defense, I had several small boxes that were not uniform in size; however they could have just not packed to the top and kept moving on. All my items were already in the garage, no stairs or dis-assembly required, no large furniture to be moved. Largest items were a few single bookcases, small decorative stair, chair, elliptical on wheels, and one set of storage drawers with 4 drawers. All other items were in boxes and/or wrapped and ready to load.
6. Movers did not have a receipt or any paperwork for me.
7. Did not go to the correct storage unit, went to a different storage unit in the area. Correct information was given on moving paperwork but they stated their GPS sent them to another similar storage area.
8. As movers were slower than expected, had to hook and unhook the trailer several times, went to the wrong storage unit all of this added to the "extra time" I then paid for.
9. After paying for 2 hours of "additional time", received a call several hours later stating they meant to say "3 hours" vice 2 hours of additional time they would like to be paid for.

Efficient, they wasted no time packing everything that was not nailed down. Pleasant 4 man crew, they even came up with some good solutions for furniture placement in the new house. Not a thing broken and all pieces reassembled before they completed the move.

Our move was scheduled for Monday, Dec. 23rd, but due to truck problems was rescheduled for Christmas Eve day. That didn’t work out either, so the move finally happened on Dec. 26th. We had to rent a uHaul to move a bed and some essentials on Christmas Eve.
I booked a 4 man crew for 7 hours. The crew worked diligently, but it took 4 extra hours due to requiring two trips (45 min away) because we had so many bulky garage items and so much outdoor furniture. Tom’s crew were very polite and worked nonstop to accomplish the move. They protected and transported our furniture carefully.
Two more family households will be using them for their moves. They don’t have the leeway we did to reschedule, so we hope the truck problems have been fully resolved!
