They were free to arrive earlier than scheduled, but I wasn’t ready! Any other time that would have been helpful. They asked plenty of questions, were fast and thorough. They did so much in 2 hrs that I had them load up boxes i thought I would be struggling to do on my own. One of them dropped a hand sized box that I didn’t hear or know about until he came to me apologizing and explained he dropped it. Luckily it was travel trinkets and what broke had a spare. No harm done. They deserved the tip.

Thank you, Mitchell Moving, for all the great help in getting us settled into our house. Especially for coming through the kitchen and lifting the huge, heavy armoire OVER THE COUNTERTOPS without a scratch, because that was the only way it was getting into our master bedroom. You guys are great!
The communication was very helpful, as well. I never had to wonder if you guys were going to show up, and even though there were delays, you kept me informed and that was very much appreciated.

Mitchell Moving was amazing! Lance was always available when I called and was super flexible with us. They moved fast, were super efficient, never once complained or acted as though anything was outside of what they could handle (and I have a lot of heavy furniture!), had great attitudes and all members of the crew were respectful of my furniture and new home! I will be contacting Mitchell moving if I ever need help moving again!

When they finally showed up the first day and loaded with apologies, they assured me the next time they came out they would be on time. Took about 8 phone calls and 7 excuses and 6 hours later and getting a second service scheduled and hours of frustration that I will never put up with again. The crew we had in Florida was ON TIME, and EFFICIENT and PROFESSIONAL. This is what I expected in Tennessee and absolutely DID NOT GET. I wish they could have come to Tennessee to unload what they loaded.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
You can expect to immediately be contacted. We will go in-depth on the details on your move. We will then call you the day before the move to verify our arrival window and go over any last minute changes. Last we will call 30 minutes before our arrival your home the day of the move. We have a true commitment to communication and making sure we are up to date and prepared to dominate.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
When we arrive at your home we like to take a tour of the house and go into detail of exactly what you would like done. We then mix our consistent system of moving with your wants and tips to make your moving day peaceful. We prioritize furniture safety over everything else. Although we like to move fast we balance our attention towards making sure there is no scratches on your furniture, walls or floors.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
That varies on each job. Some need lots of help while others want us out as quick as possible. This is a question you should discuss with who ever you chose to move you when going over the details.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've been at it a while and have done on the jobs above but i'll list a few of my favorites. In 2017, we got to install the first weight room at Clayton- Bradley Academy in Knoxville. We also moved the canyon into the Civil War Museum in Pigeon, Forge. My personal favorite is definitely any of the 3 long distance moves we've done to the Florida coast.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I enjoy getting to meet new people and staying in shape for a living.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Yes, we have a 4 day training course for new guys . They learn the basics. We also have a 3 month minimum before employees are allowed to load a box truck or lead jobs.
