I highly recommend Jimbo & Sons. They communicated with me several times before the day they were suppose to arrive. They showed up on time and ready to work. They got everything up three flights of stairs without any incidents. They were all super friendly. I will definitely use them for my next move.

Dan and Skyler arrived on time, did great work in very adverse conditions with the heat. Unloaded one U-Pack Relicube for me. They were very respectful of my items and property and I would definitely use them again.Job got done sooner than expected, and I suppose I could’ve put them to work doing other things, but I’m a little particular about how to do things plus, it’s a holiday weekend coming up and they deserve a little extra to help them enjoy the weekend more. Great job, fellas!

Jimbo and Sons were fabulous! The time and care that was taken with my belongings was outstanding! They used every inch of the storage container and were conscientious about how it was packed. I think Brad has been the first and only mover Ive seen to use a tape measure! I am so, so pleased with the work that was done!

They did get everything loaded into pods, but weather everything will get there in good condition is questionable.
Brad, the main person is a hard worker, but he is definitely not a people person or a person that trusts the people that work for him.
Being in a customer facing position where your employer is your client, should make you pay more attention to your client. If you know what you are doing you shouldn't have to continuously try to prove it of be short with your customer. This only shows an insecurity on how you perceived your own work. I also think it would help to share your time management. When your customer sees you taking smoke breaks when they are paying you by the hour, it would help for them to understand what your policies are.
And when 24 blankets are provided, but the customer is told only 6 will be needed, and all 24 are used plus more needed to be ordered, doesn't sound like the job is being handled right.
The two workers working under Brad were always professional and respectful. Unfortunately I can't say the same for Brad. If I needed someone to pack me again, I would not have Brad come to my house.
I'm still holding my breath on how well my furniture will come out when unpacking. I have pictures to share on the packing if we have any problema with damage when unpacking at our destination in the next 2 months.

My comment for Brad, we as customers are people that are just trying to understand the process. We don't need for you to be arrogant and tell us we don't know what we are doing and you are the best and most knowledgeable. We need someone that has patience and can tell us what to expect and not to expect. You need to learn to be a team player.

And quit belittling your help. They know how to move without you micro managing them.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

All customers will receive prompt and courteous service. Our goal is to ensure your moving experience is as quick and as painless as possible.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

You will have professionally attired movers that are clean and courteous with a professional attitude, with the goal of finishing your move quickly and safely.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

In order to increase the likelihood of an efficient, quick move: Label or organize boxes and tape them closed. Have bags for mattresses, especially if traveling a significant distance. If possible, have large pieces of furniture emptied with a clear path to the exit. Ensure you have moving pads (or substitutes) if we will only be present for the load. Know what's going beforehand so that we can give an accurate estimate and be properly prepared.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have managed moves from single rooms to homes over 5000 square feet. We have focused mainly on local moves but we do have experience in cross country moves in the past.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Being able to help lower the level of stress inherent to moving from a residence, regardless of size or reason. With 23 years of military service we have had to endure the stress of moving on many occasions and know from personal experience that a good moving crew greatly reduces that stress. We've all had bad experiences with movers and we strive to ensure we are not going to be one of those for our customers.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We train our associates in proper use of dollies. Preparing furniture to be loaded,e.g. use of pads, disassembly of certain items, etc.. Disconnecting and preparing appliances for movement. Proper lifting techniques and use of buddy lifts and equipment when necessary. Most importantly is the proper loading of household goods to maximize every inch available in the vehicle you've rented.
