Awesome, awesome awesome! Exceeded expectations. They showed up on time with all necessary tools and went above and beyond to make this a smooth move. They were polite and respectful and were very careful not to damage the furniture or walls/ doors. I highly recommend them, and would use them again in a heartbeat!

This was my first time using Hire a Helper and Morris Moving and Storage. The crew showed up on time, and ready to work. My items were shifted from my apartment to the truck with care. Once into storage, the same items were shifted into storage with care. I will be planning to use both Hire a Helper and Morris Moving and storage again when it is time to empty the storage in a few months. RH

Two very nice gentlemen arrived ready to work. They however were not on time, but everyone knows Houston traffic/construction can hold anyone up. They did call to say they were in traffic. It wasn't an issue at all. They worked hard and fast. I would absolutely use them again.

Scheduled to arrive 8-9am, arrived 10am. They did call twice to inform me of delay. Friendly and ready to work when they arrived. One corner wall has some damage, enough to see the metal piece underneath, and the antique buffet that caused it still has the piece of drywall on the leg, ha! Another 2 antiques have wood damage/splintering/leg broke off at the bottom/feet. I expected 3 hours, they finished in 2. Invoice I received was for another customer's job so I signed the wrong one-movers returned with proper invoice for me to sign. In the end, I paid $263 for a 2 hour move which included prepaid 3 hours ($303) minus $40 cash tip.
The guys that unloaded you said they spoke to you about the only issue they had which was a small nic of paint on the wall due to the tight stairs with a turn. I talked to them about the furniture your claiming that was broken, but they wasn't notified of anything being broke while on site. its possible what ever damage your noticing was due to how it was loaded, and it wasn't loaded by my guys so they cant be held responsible for how things were packed into the unit. James and Kevin are a very good team working together. They arrived on time, worked hard and finished on time. They were careful with my furniture and my belonging, patient and loaded everything nicely, there were no losses or damage to my items. Communication with Morris movers was very good. Morris business owner keeps in touch through text messaging. He informed me of the movers arrival and checked at the end of the move on their departure. The only thing I would recommend is make sure the movers are provided with a furniture dolly when requested as it is essential for moving furniture. In my case the movers had two hand trucks but no furniture dolly even though I requested one. It is not their fault, my moving was a last minute arrangement and Morris moving owner said all furniture dollies were with another team. I was lucky to have one dolly I borrowed that the movers used, otherwise moving furniture would have been difficult. I was pleased with the job they did.
