They were horrible. Checked the storage since I couldn’t watch them do it while I took my mom to neck and spinal surgery and it was horrible done. They put boxes on the bottom that shouldn’t have been at the bottom and are being crushed by the weight. They did things sloppy. Also chatted way to much which extended the time and we ended up having to pay them an extra $500. Will not use them again.

There were several issues that impacted the move:
• When our crew arrived, the home was not fully packed. There were numerous loose, unboxed items, belongings were spread throughout the home, and many boxes were not labeled.
• The storage unit reserved for a two-bedroom apartment was a 5’ x 10’ unit, which was too small for the volume of belongings being moved.
• We were unable to reach you by phone to discuss the storage issue, but we worked directly with the storage facility and negotiated a complimentary first month on a larger unit to help resolve the situation.
• Our crew went above and beyond by carefully organizing the storage unit and separating your mother’s belongings from yours to make everything easier to locate.
• Before beginning the move, we clearly explained that the scheduled two hours would not be sufficient to complete a two-bedroom move into storage. We communicated this expectation upfront so there would be no surprises.
We always strive to provide professional, courteous, and on-time service while setting realistic expectations with our customers. For future moves, we recommend being available throughout the move for questions or decisions, ensuring the home is fully packed before the crew arrives, selecting an appropriately sized storage unit and truck, and scheduling enough time to complete the job safely and efficiently.

Athletes on the Move were super friendly, cool, efficient, and polite. They unloaded our 300 pound credenza down the truck ramp and carefully arranged our furniture and boxes as directed. Good people. Would definitely hire again if we ever need to move.

The team arrived on time, had all the supplies they needed, worked so hard! They were polite and respectful of our belongings. They worked really hard and did a good overall job. However they were 4 hours late from the time I expected them. They did call and change the time - a few times. But they still put in their time and worked into the night making a few trips from out old residence to the new place. I would still consider using them again even though there was a problem with their arrival time.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a text message with your assigned moving crew and confirmed arrival time (given as a 1-hour window, e.g., 8:00–9:00 AM or 1:00–2:00 PM). The day before your move, one of our team members will give you a quick courtesy call to review your updated inventory list, share helpful moving tips, and go over a few best-practice reminders. What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day, your preassigned moving crew will send a text letting you know they're on the way. Upon arrival, they'll have moving equipment (furniture, appliances, and standard dollies), furniture blankets, and shrink wrap. Additional supplies such as boxes, and protective bubble wrap, must be requested 24 hours prior to your moving appointment.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
When preparing for your moving day it's always best to have all items safely packed in a box and ready for transport, TVs must be in the original box or a TV packing box that's size appropriate. We recommend all draws are empty for transport.
