Arrived early. Were organized and worked well together. I am blown away by how quickly this moved and how well the pod was packed. Took care not to damage anything. Checked in with me regularly to make sure all was proceeding properly. Great job and well done!

They were very quick and efficient! They took very good care of our things both packing a truck and then unloading it at our storage space. This is the second time using this company, and we were very pleased both times.

While the team was on time and very polite, they improperly stacked my furniture and irreparably damaged several expensive items, including my $12,000 bedroom set. When I went to make a claim with Hire A Helper, I was told that nothing was covered because I didn’t alert the team to the damage at the time it occurred, which is impossible since items were wrapped and the damaged items were under other items, and the items were not in a container or a moving truck. I used UPack, which uses a large trailer. I am very disappointed and would not recommend.

Contracted and paid for 3 men - sent 2 and came late. Had they sent the 3 men and been on time we would have finished.
Was told Hire a Helper would prorate what I paid for 3 men down to 2 men. However, I had to speak with "Hire a Helper" general office. They were unwilling to give me a reasonable pro-ration and I declined to accept. So they put a hold on men coming back the next day to finish the job. Ultimately, they offered me a $25 credit which is insulting.
I paid for a professional to dissemble my baby grand piano and put it on skid for moving. They placed the piano KEYBOARD side down with the skid facing the side of the truck. Inappropriate weight on the keyboard instead of skid damaged the keyboard. Also, it bent the 2 gold hinges holding the piano top since the total weight of the piano top now rested on the hinges since the piano facing downward rested on the keyboard instead of weight being distributed on the skid.
Moving is stressful enough without having people not fulfill the agreed upon contract, show up late, damage my piano through incompetence, and then decline to send people the next day to finish the job since I did not accept the $25 credit.

To be best prepared for moving day, take care of your kids at pets, their safety and well-being remains our number one priority. And of course, the same goes for any pets you might own. We highly recommend to keep yours and family members personal documents, jewelry with you. Be careful not to misplace your keys as searching for them on moving day will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Make sure to unplug any electronics and appliances.

In order to exceed customer expectations we provide daily training on topics such as; proper lifting Technics, to prevent injuries from our team members. their safety its our priority. Proper furniture wrapping Technics to make sure customer households goods remain in the conditions found. We train our team in proper loading procedures, making sure the basics are covered when performing the job to make sure household goods do not get damaged during transportation. We also provide proper packing procedures
