In the 18th century, it was common western belief that all swans were white. This was based on all observations made of swans to date. In 1697, Willem de Vlamingh, a Dutch explorer discovered black swans in Australia. This came as a surprise, and resulted in profound changes in the scientific history of ecology and zoology. Hence even though black swans exist, they are rare in nature. At Black swan moving, we separate ourselves from our competition by striving to be the best while also having integrity. What can a customer expect after booking with you?

After booking with us, expect a phone call or email from a representative to get a list of items being moved and details about your move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

All furniture is pad wrapped or shrink wrapped before it is loaded into the truck. We take care of disassembly and reassembly of everything that needs to be taken apart. Everything we move will be set exactly where you want it at your new location.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Before the movers arrive, you should make sure you have any medicine, car keys, and important papers with you. Everything should be ready to be move (dressers cleared off, no blankets still on beds, etc).

What types of moves have you handled?

Any kind of move you can think of, we’ve done it, pianos, long distance, safes, concrete statues, you name it and we’ve done it.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Being a mover is a great job because we get to see new scenery everyday and meet new people. Unlike most jobs time flies as a mover. This beats a job watching the clock any day.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We train all of our movers before going out on jobs. They are trained to handle furniture carefully, protect furniture and load trucks.
