This company was 2.5 hours late for my move-out. I confirmed with the owner of the company the day before and I was promised a time of 8:30AM arrival. Though the movers arrived late, they were able to get the job done. They stated they are professional movers but I had wall damage when the movers dropped an item they were handling. All-in-all they got the job done and it appeared that the owner called friends to get our job done, as these people did not know each other. They stated they just met this morning. They were not professional movers and I would not recommend them to anyone reading this review!

Had a 2 man crew from Providence. Contractor that was chosen by Hire A Helper was very nice and seemed up to date on the scheduling of my unloading of POD's. 2 men for 3 hours. I planned it taking no more than 1.5 hours.
2 guys spent most of the time bickering with one another. One stood on our front porch while the other would bring boxes and items to the porch and either the mover or my wife and I would carry the item into the house. My fault for not cracking down on this practice. Thought I would help expidite the move...mistake!!
After the king headboard did not fit up stairs (after a broken window, gouged wood trimwork and hole in the drywall) needless to say I was done with this. In fairness, the foreman was actually decent and a good worker. He just brought on the wrong guy to help him. His helper was physically not up to it I suspect.
Workers told me they were breaking for lunch at noon. News to me as our first movers who packed us did not do this. Came back an hour later and the head guy mentioned to me that the helper he had was done! Of course the remaining items were all the heavy stuff that had to go upstairs. I couldnt believe it. The foreman told me that this was his helper's first move! I proceeded to help the foreman with the dressers and chests up the stairs to get the job done.. I am 54 years old and this is not why I hired labor....to quit??
Called the contractor and he was upset at this turn of events. "Unacceptable" as he said.
I really should not have paid what I did but the contractor is caught up with Hire A Helper who didnt seem to really get what had gone down here. Very frustrated with the amount I ended up paying, albeit a discount from the original quote.
Please keep in mind , I have never wrote a negative review in my life prior to this. I am not a complainer...to a fault.

We were very pleased with this company, which we had hired to move furniture from a 'pod' in our driveway and from our garage into a three story house. They called us the day before and they called us the day of, to say they were on their way. Chris and Ty were the two movers sent by the company. They were on time, were very hard-working, respectful and were a pleasure to work with. We would most definitely use them again.

Sept. 1 2012 over 200,000 students returned to Boston with many of them moving into apartments. I was pleased to find them on time, very courteous and able to complete the job as scheduled.

The fine gentlemen at Ready2Go bailed me out of a tough situation.
They made time - at the last minute - on the Friday before Labor Day to help me move a number of items that I simply couldn't move without extra help.
They came all the way from the Boston area to Portsmouth, NH, fighting holiday traffic all of the way. Once they got here, they worked like FIENDS to get the job done.
These young men were polite, professional, and worked very hard. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs some extra hands while moving.

They arrived hours after I scheduled them to help me move my stuff into a pod, and they were constantly on the cell phone with the guy who was in the office - I mean CONSTANTLY. Every time they lifted something, they put it down because they had to yak on the phone with the boss. And I had written in my reservation of moving labor help that I had HUGE furniture - they sent me an 18-year old guy who dropped the bureau and trapped his ankle on the stairway, and the othe worker was a woman, who was very fit at moving boxes, but they could not handle the furniture. I then had to wait another two hours for a third guy to show up - he was very large and able to handle the furniture, but they dragged it down the stairs instead of carrying it, and damaged the furniture as well as the staircase. I wouldn't suggest this service again to anyone. They were reserved for five hours, but only worked three, and I was not refunded any money.
