Great workers, I'd hire them again! Showed up a few minutes early, had two dollies and rope, and worked relentlessly from start to finish. They handled annoying obstacles like a small elevator and extra flights of stairs without complaint. They were careful with items and gave good advice about loading the container to prevent shifting.

The Thoughtful Movers were very friendly, professional, and productive. They finished before the 2 hours and were very efficient in packing the truck. They were positive and confident with what they could pack because I thought I had so much. I recommend them to anyone who is looking to have their truck packed! I also wanted to say that I called for movers needed the same day and they arrived from DC within an hour and a half of my call. I though that was great time on such short notice.

They did a great job!! Thank you! They are proffessional and courteous. Moved our grandmothers furniture into the uhaul for us and finished ahead of time. It wasnt an easy move either, atypical ill just say that, and they were kind and understanding. Id reccommend them for sure!

We had an awful experience with a moving company that abandoned the job mid-move citing that their boss had not informed them that they had to reassemble our furniture upon arrival. Hireahelper salvaged our move by dispatching thoughtful helpers to finish the job. They were professional and efficient. They were prepared with the proper tooks. They worked well as a team and were pleasant to be around. We would definitely hire them again.

The workers were very polite, careful and on time. They were steady works and did not waste time.
They had some bubble wrap and lots of shrink wrap plus the blankets which were delivered with the pod by Pack Rat.
We furnished several more rolls of bubble wrap and cord to tie items to the walls of the pod.
They believed in wrapping wood furniture with the shrink wrap and our case it wasted a lot of space under tables which seemed like it could have been used for more items or boxes to fit into the pod.
When they told me the container was full; I checked it and felt they could add more to the container. With encouragement they did add 2 items. We added about 8 more items after they left.
I wish I would have controlled the actual packing of the pod more myself as I know I would been able to fit more into the pod. The weight still was 500# under the limit.
We felt this crew did not have a great deal of experience at this type of packing at this time.

These guys did a great job. Two guys for 4 hours to move our family in to our new home in MD.....showed up on time, worked really hard for 4 hours....and was very careful moving some big items in to the house. We have a basement and upstairs...not an easy move, but they did it all for us. It was a warm day and these guys hardly took a break. Moving is never a fun thing to do, but for sure having good help like this takes some of the sting out of it. I have another moving task in a month or so and I will use them again. Give them a call!!!

On time, worked hard, polite and respectful. Delante, Cedric and CJ were helpful, friendly, and stayed focused on the job. They showed in street clothes, not any uniform or shirt, so initially I wasn't sure - but after that they were just like any moving crew I've used in the past. Good, solid work, no complaints. I'd ask for their help again. Thanks guys!

This is a small business and it shows in their lack of professionalism. For easy reading, I will provide bullets:
Cons:
-Late for appointment and didn't call until I called them; had to reschedule for the next morning.
-Late for the appointment the next morning without a call.
-Wasted at least 15 minutes of the 2-hour window talking on the cell phone.
-I expected them to move with a sense of urgency since they charge by the hour (and were late twice), but instead slowly walked back from the storage pod to the apartment. Lot of wasted time here.
-Seemed inexperienced as movers because they did not understand very basic packing concepts (heavy stuff toward the front of the truck)
-Disregarded 'Fragile' warnings on boxes (carrying the box on its side where there was very clearly an arrow showing the up direction)
Pros:
-They came with a third person; he was much older and had limited capacity to move heavy things, but made an effort
-The guys were very polite and followed instructions when specifically directed.
-All furniture that needed to be moved was moved, in spite of their slow pace.
