The window for arriving was 8-9. We had to pick up a piano from a residence and load /unload a storage unit . I got there at 8 and waited over an hour . They knew they were moving a piano and did not come prepared with straps (I asked specifically). My piano fell in the back of the moving truck and the wheel broke . A glass lamp shade also broke .
They locked their keys in their own vehicle and spent almost 45 Minutes trying to unlock door . The move slowed as all 4 tried to unlock the door . I spoke to them about not being charged for that time and they complied .
The whole move of a storage unit to my new home took 7 hours . (9am-3pm). My teenage children told me they heard the movers arguing about the extended time, swearing was in their opinion , “throwing things.” I have never hired movers , so I don’t know if they are to leave boxes in a orderly fashion. Mine were literally
dumped ! I couldn’t even get through the room. I spent hours moving and rearranging boxes because they were not in the right room despite rooms and boxes being labeled. Covers were off totes, and several boxes were ripped and torn. I found a handmade doll house broken . Boxes were stacked awkwardly .
They were polite and friendly, and I found it difficult not to tip them , but felt like they worked hard and I was thrilled to finally have everything in my home . I left a small tip And provided pizza and sodas for lunch . I made a phone call about my broken piano and other concerns . I was reimbursed $50, of which I am still waiting a deposit .
I know moves aren’t easy , but being a single mom I was hoping to feel more supported in care of my things .

The crew (2 men) were very professional and got the job done! We hired them for 2 hours and they took all our heavy duty furniture up 3 flights of stairs with no problem and placed the furniture exactly where they needed to be. It made our move 100x easier. I will never not get movers again!

These guys were great! Fast& efficient! Totally worth the $$. I used movers hired thrugh uhaul in the same move and 3 guys werent able to do in 3hrs what my hire a helper movers did in two. Next time i will use hire a helper for the whole move!
