The movers were late showing up. They did a good job other than they asked me if they could take pictures of just the items they were moving for marketing purposes. I agreed, but one of the guys began taking pictures of all parts of my house and wandering around looking at rooms in which he did not belong. They were moving mattresses around and nothing else. Made me feel very uncomfortable and I have put our security company on high alert for any suspicious activity going forward. Also, when the job was done, they hung out in my driveway smoking and organizing their truck for over 45 minutes making me miss an appointment because I was not going to leave my house with them in my driveway. I could not hear what they were talking about, but they looked to be having an argument, and then one guy started taking photos of the outside of my home. Had they not immediately gotten in their truck and left at that point, I was ready to call the police to have them removed. Very odd behavior. Again, the job was done and no damage occurred during the job, but the guys were sketchy and made me very, very uncomfortable during the entire time.

It was horrible experience with them. They came 15 minutes late they wanted to go before 10 minutes scheduled. They did not arrange the things well in my u-pack containers, some of my items were damaged. They wasted lot of time on talking with each other and taking breaks. I don’t recommend these people for anyone. Better Stay away from them.

The company did not show up after confirming a 9 am until 10 am pick up window. I had a long-distance move and was counting on them to make sure I could execute everything on my itinerary. I would recommend researching the reviews before hiring any company, and this is not one I could possibly recommend to anybody.

Delayed due to traffic. Woody called to keep us abreast on their arrival time. Very professional and wored hard to complete the job in the contracted time. Used all tools required to do the job...Hand truck, furniture dollys, mattress straps, & loading straps. Took good care of our belongings. Would definitely hire them again.

Asheville Moving Helpers has completed almost the entire spectrum of professional moves just short of an international resident or business move I'd say we have done the rest, state to state, residential, commercial, offices, gym & fitness equipment, server racks for cinemas( ....that was a fun night!), Storage Unit Facilities...constantly The list is endless....
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I have come to Love the project of it all....move this stuff in this amount of time and it has to be done this way....it's a real challenge but I love the project aspect of it all and completing it in a timely manner.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All Asheville Moving Helper employees are trained with a shoulder dolly system and handtrucks and a keen focus on teamwork with their helper and the customers being moved.

We charge an extra 10% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We refund up to one unused hour over our min..
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 1 hour over the prebooked time.
