Would NEVER recommend them for moving services. Did not show up as agreed during the arrival window, no communication as to why or where they were. Finally showed up 3 hours late with NO equipment. What should have taken 1-2 hours to move took over 3 hours and with no tools could not assist in putting together the bed. This move was for my 83 year old mother so needless to say, this was so upsetting and stressful for her.

Arrived smelling of smoke(you know what I mean), hit my walls several times with furniture, slow workers. Very late to show up. Called to complain, was told another modified receipt would be sent. Never was and full amount was charged to my credit card. I have used Hire a Helper many times and this was just so bad. Will probably not use again.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.
What types of moves have you handled?
My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
What training do you provide your crew members?
My crew has been trained in proper lifting techniques and well as furniture preparation,packing and customer service. .
