I hired SMF to unload a 16 foot POD that was packed to the brim with boxes of various sizes and weights. They called me that morning to confirm the time and again when they were on their way and arrived earlier than expected. The two guys were polite, professional and very helpful, carefully unloading all the items and bringing each box to its designated spot. Overall it was a very good experience and going through hire a helper made the whole process very convenient.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should try to have all boxes properly sealed, dresser drawers emptied if possible. have boxes staged in one location, also to have all needed materials such as moving blankets , shrink wrap and tape.
What types of moves have you handled?
My company has handled various residential moves, long distance ,storage units ,ABF trailers, loading and unloading of PODS ,and office relocation.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is helping people eliminate the anxiety that's comes on moving day.
What training do you provide your crew members?
My crew has been trained in proper lifting techniques and well as furniture preparation,packing and customer service. .
