Hi my name is Todd and I own Modern Day Movers. I have 30+ years of moving ,loading and assembly experience residential and commercial moves. I myself will be on and facilitate every move we book. Covid19 compliant. 1-6 man background checked crews available. Same day and last minute booking available. Every employee has been professionally trained. This company takes pride in the services we provide and strive for customer satisfaction We have all the equipment and knowledge needed to complete any move residential or commercial. We do full pack and moves as well. We are Hireahelper approved to move any kind of piano, pool tables or hospital equipment.

Modern Day Movers were fast, respectful, and efficient. They made the absolute best use of the space in the moving van I rented and did all the heavy lifting. It was obvious that they are very experienced and know how to best pack a van and move large, heavy furniture without damaging it. I definitely recommend them.

We were given an arrival time of 8am-9am. They were coming from the Cincinnati area up to Dayton and it was raining. They arrived at 9:30. I am a super punctual person so I would've shot for 8am and then I would know I wouldn't be late. Their description said they would pay you for time lost over 15 minutes, but they never mentioned it or offered to take money off. Once here, they did a great job with what we needed.

Absolutely terrible. No call, no show. We called them for hours and hours, as did Hire A Helper, and they never responded. Roughly five hours after they were meant to arrive, they FINALLY called us, saying that they had thought that the delivery day was tomorrow, not today. VERY disappointing, would not recommend these guys to anybody. I'm somewhat sympathetic to scheduling errors (although given that that's the entire point of scheduling movers ahead of time, it's difficult to forgive), but being completely unavailable and uncommunicative is atrocious. Absolutely don't hire these guys. It's possible they do good work when they show up, but therein lies the problem.

A professional move in a timely manner. We have no office personal every employee is a qualified professional mover . We have the ability to move pool tables , hot tubs and grand pianos. We will do whatever we can to relieve the stress of your move . If you are not given professionalism and respect by every Modern Day Mover and it's not resolved immediately our portion of the move will be free.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Let us do the work for you. Packing services are available. To save time and damage prevention all boxes should be tape shut and tote lids secured.

Local and long distance movers. Assemble techs for home or office needs 30+ years of experience will be on your move ensuring that your move goes smoothly we have elite crews ready to go capable of completing major apt complex moves and full installs. Ikea techs, Electrolux techs , office cubicle assembly techs. A pool table , no problem. Hot tub , no problem . Grand piano , we got u covered .
