Hi my name is Todd and I own Modern Day Movers. I have 30+ years of moving ,loading and assembly experience residential and commercial moves. I myself will be on and facilitate every move we book. Covid19 compliant. 1-6 man background checked crews available. Same day and last minute booking available. Every employee has been professionally trained. This company takes pride in the services we provide and strive for customer satisfaction We have all the equipment and knowledge needed to complete any move residential or commercial. We do full pack and moves as well. We are Hireahelper approved to move any kind of piano, pool tables or hospital equipment.

Initial appointment was scheduled from 9-10am. The company changed the appointment to 8-9am a couple weeks before the move (which was fine). I (and Hire A Helper) called and texted the main contact at 9:15 with no answer. He called back at 9:25am to tell me that he just woke up. He said he would be to my house within an hour with an additional helper. He called Hire A Helper to have them call me (not sure why he couldn’t have called me directly) and ask me if they could come another day bc it was raining. I said no - he couldn’t come another day. He showed up at 11:00am.
The two helpers he brought with him were absolutely wonderful. They had great personalities and did a great job overall. If it wasn’t for the changing the time to earlier and then being tardy, I would’ve given them 4-5 stars.
zero no shows and only a few times have we been late to any move but that happens from time to time every time this company has been late I provided extra men free of charge leaving us with a high customer satisfaction rate.

Todd and his team did an excellent job in helping me load my truck for an intrastate move! They initially ran a bit behind schedule, informed me via call and brought an extra person (only paid for 2 ppl and they brought 3) to ensure an efficient load process. They were courteous and respected my belongings and were very efficient and thorough in their process. They may be slightly more expensive than some, but I would highly recommend!

My husband and I hired Modern Day Movers to move a very heavy prebuilt deck that we ordered from a freight truck to our patio and set it in place, after which my husband and I would install the stairs and railings. They were a bit late due to their GPS sending them the wrong way and my husband and the truck driver were able to off-load the deck onto the driveway. Then when Todd and his guys got here, they went to work and not only did they move the deck and put it in place but they installed the stairs and railings too! When they left, we had a complete deck and because there were 3 men instead of the 4 we had chosen in the work order, Todd refunded that portion back to us. I would recommend Modern Day Movers to anyone who needs quality, professional work done.
It took us 15minutes to move it and set in place what were we supposed to do for the next hour and45? I didn't drive hour and a half for 15 minutes so the solution was " build the deck. "

This was the best investment we made!! We decided at the last minute to hire helpers for a move. They were available to help with less than a 24 hr notice !! They arrived earlier than scheduled time and were very friendly and professional. They had to unload a 12 ft moving truck and carry the items up to a 3rd floor apartment. They were scheduled for 2 hours and completed the move in 1 hr 10 min. They took care of everything they moved and there was no damage. We will definitely hire them again and I highly recommend them.

Extraordinary helpers. Yeah, they were 45 mins late, but they did call beforehand to inform us they were being delayed.
Courteous and very respectful of our belongings and property.
They worked well together and quickly. They came prepared to unload our truck trailer and came equipped. Very professional. I would not hesitate to use them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
A professional move in a timely manner. We have no office personal every employee is a qualified professional mover . We have the ability to move pool tables , hot tubs and grand pianos. We will do whatever we can to relieve the stress of your move . If you are not given professionalism and respect by every Modern Day Mover and it's not resolved immediately our portion of the move will be free.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Let us do the work for you. Packing services are available. To save time and damage prevention all boxes should be tape shut and tote lids secured.
