They were super nice BUT when l looked in the container, later, I was shocked. There was loose items just stuck everywhere. There was things sticking out things hanging out things squished in smashing on other things. Man, I was so disappointed. I know they were trying to make room for the furniture. Barely fit in there, so I know they were trying to make space. But it seems like it should’ve been a little more. straightened out. There’s definitely gonna be things broke fans and air purifiers, pictures, dishes. So then we went in the house and thought I better check things out here. There were a few.dishes in the cupboards in the kitchen, leftover dishes in the covers underneath.

We hired 2 workers for 2 hours. They were supposed to arrive between 9:00 and 10:00 am. At about 9:55 they called and said they were running about 1/2 hour behind schedule. At almost 11:00, I was calling the Hire A Helper about it. They did not answer the phone. I had to leave 2 messages. One guy did show up around about that time - 1 hour late. He had only received notice just that morning that they would need him to help out. He understood someone else was also coming, but my husband and I had already started unloading our storage unit by that time and no one else ever came. We had scheduled something else right behind the unloading of this unit and needed to get moving forward with things. The guy that showed up was a GREAT helper! He was quick and put things exactly where we wanted everything. He knocked it out really quickly while we also helped. We are in our 60's and were hiring some strong arms so we wouldn't have to do it ourselves. In the end, we were able to come to an agreement with the company on what we should pay to compensate for only getting one helper and that guy was an hour late. I do sincerely appreciate when a company knows they fell short of what was promised and did what was necessary to make up for it. In that regard, I was satisfied.

Wrapped all the furniture very carefully with blankets and stretch wrap.

Long story short they need to be micro managed. I told them I wanted tie downs and my stuff secured. ZERO tie downs. At the back of the trailer with the last of my stuff. They ran rope through the access points and let it go slack. Zero knots. They worked extremely fast, with zero planning and execution. Countless boxes were crushed, and everything had tipped and waterfalled over, making the unloading difficult and borderline dangerous. I’m not finished unpacking but I fear how much stuff might be found broken. Thing that bothers me the most is the kid gave me his word he was securing my stuff with tie downs and being careful. Was not the case. AND we stupidly tipped them $60 a piece. Find other movers. Very poor job. Would never use again.

The team was great. They worked hard, showed on time, were respectful and professional. They filled our pods to the fullest possible and got the job done way beyond what we expected in 4 hours. We will use them again to finish up in a couple of days.
