I hired Helping hand on a very short notice. I needed someone to help me empty a container, load it on a truck and then unloaded for me. Wow, the two gentlemen, came through for me. They were on time, polite, respectful, diligent, focused, and handled the furniture with great care. Helping Hands communicates well with there customers. Unlike Best Movers, when I initially hired them first, come to find out later that they failed to update there availability and left me in a lurch.
If I am in need of movers in the future, I would hire Helping hands without any hesitation. Best experience I have had since moving to Florida. Job well done!

They did a good job and were really nice guys (Josh & Zach). Josh was willing to go above and beyond to help with anything and everything. However, they left a few marks on the walls and ceiling with moving the furniture from one unit to another, but that is probably to be expected and easy to get off.....thank goodness for Mr. Clean eraser. :-) The biggest issue that upset me was, they were not truly honest about breaking a light to my ceiling fan in the living room in my new home. My dad had taken it apart and unraveled the cord the day before to reduce the nose of it, so we know for certain it was not previously broken. When I discovered it was broken I specifically mentioned it to Zach and nothing was said. He did not deny it but he did not admit to it either. Now I have to pay to replace it. I am not happy about that at all. :-(

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We typically call our customers within an hour of receiving notification of booking.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always call our customers the day prior to moving to confirm the date and time. On the day of the move, our crew will show up with smiles on their faces and ready to work!
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
You can always call us with any questions prior to moving day. First and foremost, customers should RELAX. Items should be wrapped and packed in labeled boxes. Furniture pads should be purchased or rented - they are essential to protecting your belongings. If you are disassembling furniture before we arrive, put all hardware (screws, nuts, bolts) in a labeled baggie and tape it to the furniture or put it somewhere safe.
What types of moves have you handled?
You name it, we have done it! Labor services (loading, unloading, re-arranging furniture), Full Service Moves (white glove services with a truck), local moves, corporate moves, junk removal, deliveries.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We have met some pretty awesome customers. Moving can be very stressful, so it's always nice to hear that we have alleviated the stress that is associated with moving.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our training methods are extremely hands on - our patient yet thorough crew leaders are experienced in teaching the industry's latest moving techniques to our newer staff members.
